Majthényi Présház Borozó

This good traditional Hungarian restaurant has an amazing view to big parts of the lake Balaton (included the iconic Badacsony mountain). Here I love the dish "cigánypecsenye" most. It's sooo juicy and has a good amount of garlic on. It brings the water to my mouth. One of the signature flavours of Hungary.

Beautiful restaurant surrounded by vineyards and wonderful balaton view. Staff was very friendly, professional and helpful. Food was excellent, my medium-rare steak was really medium-rare and the local wine was surprisingly dry and delicious! Great place!

Food is phenomenal the wine is outstanding and service is very professional and friendly. It's a real rustic Hungarian place with authentic kitchen and the view of Balaton shores is mesmerizing... and thank a million times to our Hungarian relatives Robi and Livi for introducing us to this wonderful place... love you guys

Had a wonderful dinner facing the sunset at this restaurant accompanied by the locally produced wines. Very well located on top of the hill with the views over the vineyards, lake and mountains.

The view alone was worth the trip to this restaurant, the service was outstanding and the food amazing. They also have a play area for kids to enjoy.

A spectacular place to have dinner, especially if you can catch the sunset over the vineyards. One can almost feel they have been transported to the countryside in Tuscany. The food was fantastic, a great selection of different grills and also vegetarian options. Everything was presented impeccably, and the service was top notch. A great experience for anyone and really recommended to visit. There is also a play ground near the restaurant so even younger kids can keep occupied. The wine from their own yards was really good. Well done!

Beautiful place with great views from the restaurant and around, nice food and wine, friendly and professional service.

Great food and service. Standard Hungarian cuisine but high quality food. Prices reasonable, ribs and cabbage was under 3000 huf, sides 800 extra. Didn't try the wines as driving. The special thing is the views out over Balaton from the terrace, absolutely stunning, worth visiting just for the views alone, everything else is a much appreciated bonus.

If you are fed up with the beach food go to Majthenyi and have a proper Hungarian dish.

Beautiful view (just ask for the right tables) and nice gastro options. It can be a bit difficult by bike to get here, but definitely worth it.

Located on the top of the Kishegy, it has an amazing view over lake Balaton, and the hills on it's northern shore. Spectacular sunsets from the terrace. The food is good and the atmosphere is friendly. There is a great open space in front, where children can run freely.

Beautiful place, the food is good too. They can be double booked sometimes, definitely make a reservation before you go.
