I was very sad to hear they have (temporarily) closed. Yes, the prices were a little higher than what you see in other cafes in the area, but that is what you get if you want exceptional quality. I hope they are able to return in the Summer!

One of those cool, hype Hungarian pékbistrós. Very decent coffee, wide and tasty selection of bakery products and more. Worth taking a detour!

Very nice place, great pastry, good coffee. As the place is always crowded even in autumn, you have to arrive at the right time not to stand in line for too long.
After you get your breakfast you are able to enjoy it on the beautiful terrace.

Amazing croissants! We also tried the salty one, with pate and it was wow. Very good coffee. We might just make a detour for them again, before leaving.

If you want something special, something quality for breakfast, you should visit them. My personal favorite is the croissant with lever paté. The caffe is also defenitely recommended. Please be prepared for a long queue.

This is an amazing bakery and cafe that I cannot recommend enough. We often stay at Káli Art Inn in Köveskál and have enjoyed tasty baked foods from Andriksa Pékbisztró as they offer them to guests. Recently we visited Andriska Pékbisztró ourselves and were delighted and we look forward to returning. Sorry we parked in the wrong place, Andriska!

I am an American visiting and my review is from a somewhat different viewpoint than most... not better or worse... just different. This place is a DIAMOND in the rough. I am very well traveled and I can be very critical of restaurants, cafes, coffee shops, and the like. This is most definitely NOT what you would expect in a small village in the countryside of Hungarian Wine Country... in a good way. Here's my breakdown:
AESTHETIC. Something akin to a tastefully artistic, well funded, California Wine Country small form restaurant.
SMELL. Reminds me of a world class Parisian bakery.
MUSIC. It's a truly eclectic mix. They don't turn on the outside music until 10am but what a joy when it comes on. It's hard to describe as it is broadly mixed in genre. Nothing offensive but some; funk, soul, blues, electronika, and more. I loved it thoroughly.
TASTE. This is really what it's all about. It is a homerun. Everything is fresh made. The coffee is excellent if mild but truly coffee forward. This place is utterly enjoyable and worth the trip.
PRICE. Last but not least, this is not the cheap alternative. Quality comes at a price and I'm glad to pay that price. It is on par with downtown Budapest prices but again, the quality is much better. For an American, these prices are all very low but for the cost conscious, well, judge for yourself. I'm here for a month and will be here most mornings. Come early cause they do run out. DON'T COMPLAIN... just come early.

Loved this place, it's highly recommended to stop by at least for shopping whatever preferred (breads, cakes, sandwich, coffee, etc), but if you have time to have a seat in the garden or inside, it won't disappoint you! Many thanks for the hospitality, we will come back soon! Wishing you all the best! Balaton needs more Andriska ;)

Fantastic pastries and coffee, clearly the best in the region. Kiflis are truly amazing! Prepare for long lines, but it's worth the wait.

Artisan bakery...perfect butter croissan + competent staff. On the top of that: Lucky cup coffee (Bányai from Costa Rica). Thank you!

The pastries/breads are really high quality, the bistro is super nice - prepare for a long queue as this place is very very popular but worth the wait. Open all year around - we will definitely be back.
