Alsóörs Marina

The beachfront hotel exceeded all our expectations. It is a luxury property right inside the quiet marina with many yachts. Rooms offer an unbeatable Balaton views - most come with grand balconies. Rooms are large, perfectly furnised in modern designed style. We loved the inside second doors to bedroom. Bathroom was excellent with WC separated and overall enough shower space and grand basin area. Surprisingly spacey wardrobes for storing as many clothes as you wish. Extra comfortable beds, optimal pillows. Nicely designed lightning. Parking right next to the hotel's building, inside a camera protected area, for free. They stored overnight out bikes in the adjacent marina garage. All staff perfectly trained and very positive, helpful and attentive. As we were a bit unsure when booking just 3star hotel, now we have to rate it almost 5star thanks to all the facts above and many more. Brilliant!

My wife and I absolutely enjoyed our stay at this beachside hotel. It is conveniently located almost next to the Alsóörs strand and their rooms are impeccable. I also have to mention their helpful staff which supported us in every way necessary. We liked the included breakfast and the parking possibility; for our car, we were even granted a „late checkout“ in the evening so that we could enjoy the full day on the beach. We will certainly come back to this place when we would like to spend some peaceful holidays next to Balaton.

Great service all around !! The food is excellent at the Alma restaurant. Hotel is small but very clean and the rooms a re comfortable. The view is super from every room. Staff is very helpful !! We will stay again.

Bravo! Had a late lunch in this stylish marina. Food is fantastic! The chef personally explained the cooking methods he is working with. His menu is combining traditional dishes with new wave ones. Short and concise. Service is excellent, polite and caring. They mixed up our order accidentaly and provided the right dish extra, free of charge. Certainly will recommend this place.

We had a great buffet breakfast for just EUR 9 per person (offered till 10:30am). The restaurant has a full view on the marina. It is also dog-friendly so feel free to bring your pets along.

Clean rooms and shower, nice receptionist. The breakfast was good. The cleaning ladys are helpfull and nice. Went with a 2 year old no problem. They have a bicycle storage, bit aquard to lift up your bikes if not lightwaight.

Very positive feedback on the menu which might seem pretty ordinary at a first glance but the quality of the ingredients and the way it was prepared ended up in an excellent mixture of taste. Location is nice and staff is also professional.

This hotel is really stylish. We have a large room with a lake view. I suspect that all the rooms have the same view. It really looks a lot better than it does on the website.
It is a two minute walk from the Strand (beach).
However, do be careful about the price of the drinks at the bar. I got confused with the conversation rate and paid 7,000 HUF for a bottle of red wine, about ten times what I paid for an equally good bottle of house red, the previous night in a local restaurant, less than a mile from here. To make things worse, at checkout, they had charged us for an 18,000 HUF bottle.

A wonderful place to be. Very nice and friendly people, good breakfast and time to relax in Hungary.
