I have not given stars for rooms as they are only available in summer season and we visited in early January. However, the venue is great, very artistic energy to the place and has a wonderful vegan menu alongside the main menu, very fresh food and imaginative. They even have Matcha. Very welcoming place and staff and am looking forward to return as soon as I can.

Great. This is a really hip, cool place just in the footsteps of the Danube — they serve excellent food from their kitchen (.. they call it ‘Laboratorium’), always play funky music and provide great service all around. The pizzas are good, but I suggest going for any of the soups, curry or else they come up with; also, the quiches are super nice. Always happy to drop by here, much recommended.

Super nice food right next to the Danube. Always crowded even in winter time when all the other waterfront restaurants are closed. Must visit when in Nagymaros!

A rather hipster style restaurant, with a small interior and a more spacious terrace. Amazing view across the Danube to the king's castle. The food is okay, with Budapest price level. A small playground may help the parents to get some relaxation until the food arrives. Staff are professional and helpful.

Beautiful scenery, nice people, chilled atmosphere, healthy and also yummy food. Kid and dog friendly. The prices are a bit higher, but totally worth it, the food is organic and healthy, not the oily standars you can usually find at hungarian “beaches”. Try the hamburger, its tasty, juicy, the sauce is perfect, the bun is big enough, perfect proportion.

Brasilian feeling, exellente food, music and bear, nice staff. A real Latin America like refuge directly in the Danube shore. Dog friendly.

It's a real hidden jam by the river of Danube. Simple, but pleasant furniture, chairs, tables and sofas. Some instruments an old radio, it's all well-thought out. Vegan options are simply delicious, and it's really good to have these in this neighbourhood. The service is friendly and quick. I'd also highlight the tea options which you can make for yourself from real tea leaves, mixed according to taste. We'll definitely come back here often!

The best place to have a great meal at Nagymaros

I spent a night at this modern hotel and restaurant place on my walking trip through Hungary. The staff was super friendly and spoke excellent English. My room was large and cozy with a clean bathroom and a good shower. The beer and food in the restaurant was excellent. There were vegetarian options as well. The hotel is located just on the shore of the Danube. It is nice to walk a few steps and watch the river flow by. WIFI was excellent. The garden area between restaurant and hotel is nicely decorated with many creative ideas. An excellent accomodation.

Great view of the river and the fortress - a nice place to have some food and local beer and relax. They were kind enough to let me leave my bags inside while I went for a swim.

Good place to spend a nice lunch or dinner with your friends.
Do not forget to come for the night, we have cool jazz music in the Pub. You can also swim at night, the beach ⛱ is opposite the Pub.

Great chill place with its friendly staff and lovely non commercial musics. Pet and bicycle friendly. However prices on dishes are quite high but at least good and fresh ones.

Small restaurant of a young family living there, with lots of quality handmade stuff and friendly, leisure vibes. Great views on the Danube and Visegrad,fair prices, and lately quality live concerts,too-retaining a familiar feeling.

Laidback atmosphere, amazing view, mouth watering dishes. Highly recommended!
