Hotel Füred Spa & Conference

i don't think i am wrong to say this hotel is far the best in Hungary amongst four stars hotels.
Spacious, clean, comfortable, friendly, with great cuisine.

I felt some of the staff members little tired. But this is not a wonder at these days.

I especially liked that there was "hurka" (kind of sausages) in the breakfast buffet.

Great value hotel right next to the Balaton. The food is superb with a wide variety of different dishes. Staff is also nice. The spa is small but good for relaxing a bit after a long day. You can play bowling as well, although if your shoe size is bigger than 46 EU (12 US), you might have a hard time as you must wear proper shoes to play and 46 was the size of the biggest available shoes.
This place is highly recommended and we would definitely return!

Great hotel, right at the Balaton, like literally, you just have to step out of the building. Spacious, good atmosphere, elegant design. Comfortable rooms, we had an awesome balcony, even though it was not facing the lake. Breakfast and dinner were amazing, they always changed something, and the quality of the food was truly great! It is a big hotel, but the spa was not crowded, even with the house full. Nice indoor pools, saunas, bowling, great outdoor buffet! We had a relaxing time. Try their bloody brain shot at the bar! 😎

The hotel is still great! Great location, excellent rooms with good AC, reach and delicious breakfast and dinner, as well as very professional and polite staff. There is no demand that is not met. The only objection is the Wifi: difficult login (it is needed several time a day), slowly, and there are rooms where the signal very weak.

After visiting Balatonfüred last summer for an afternoon with some colleagues I knew I wanted to return and experience all the area had to offer.

I couldn't have picked a better place than Hotel Füred for my week long holiday. Upon arrival the staff was courteous and professional. There was a slight problem with our room (we needed two single beds and there was only a double that could not be separated) that was easily taken care of without complaint.

The lobby bar and lounge are quite comfortable and was an excellent spot to unwind after our journey from Budapest. Our bartender was quite helpful with information about the hotel and the surrounding area and we seemed to run into him everywhere but the front desk. He soon became our go to guy for anything we needed either at the beach bar or in the dining room.

Not many of the reviews I've read of this location talk about the food so we were a little skeptical about the included breakfast and dinner that were included in our booking. Those fears were dashed in the first night. The dining room is tastefully done and the attendants take great care to make you feel comfortable. I highly recommend ordering something from the wine menu which includes a great selection of white, rose, and red wines from the region. We tried a different wine each night and were never disappointed.

Both the spa area and the beach offered great places to relax and unwind. I just wish they were open later into the evening.

All in all this was a very positive experience and I would highly recommend it for future travelers. I will certainly be back.

Quite a lovely resort and the staff was wonderful. We were there before the busy season started so we almost had the place to ourselves. The indoor heated pools are magnificent with lots of jets and ways to sit / lounge and enjoy them.

I did not spend any nights here, but had a coffee and a drink in the bar and asked the staff to show me the hotel facilities. Spa is really nice, the view is beatiful to the Balaton from the rooms. It has its own beach.

Beautiful place, next to lake Balaton nice swimming pools also slides water cycles very nice rooms and great view, but the only problem is that its rated a 4.5 star hotel and it should be five.
I really recommend this place.

Clean, beautiful beach on lake Balaton,26 degrees,,6000 forints to get daily beach pass, or if you live in the close district 1200 forints,

Great views and amenities. Feels almost like a Los Vegas hotel at the lake. Priced that way too though.
