Swimming in lake Balaton in every new years eve 🎊

Nicest beach in the vicinity. There's a wide variety of food and drinks available at different little booths, and it has a few dozen meters of artificial sandy shore as well. Changing rooms and safes are also available. The only downside is that it gets rather crowded in high season.

Visiting this attractive corner oc the Balaton in February was surprised to see such a good number of visitors. The reason was soon apparent - a small, but adequate outdoor ice skating rink and an open restaurant. If only more of the Balaton villages would do similar things then the tourism would not completely die in the winter. As a local there still need to be places to go. We aren't bears - we don't completely hibernate all winter. PS Looks an attractive small strand in summer too good facilities lovely lake views and plenty of shady trees.

Nice beach in the north-west part of lake Balaton. During winter there is the ice-swimming on the 1st of January each year.the catch the christmastree feom the lake. This year (2020) the water was 2.6 celsius. There were over 600 swimmer and thousands of visitors. There is also a nice ice-skating place.

Friendly and nice place where you can spend nice time. Lots of activities and facilities. No time for boring. Strongly recommend for everyone mainly families.

Biggest and best of the nearby beaches, really spacious with plenty of available activities. And still reasonably priced.

Very nice quiet beach

Very nice and clean beach, much more familiar feeling than the nearby one at Gyenesdiás even though that the ice cream place Bringa tanya has award winning gelatos.
I went at the end of May before the season started, FOC entry and not too many peeps. I would definitely go before or after thead rush in june-july-august

Great place to enjoy the lakes. One of the best selections of food and drink on the Balaton. The sult hekk is really good here (at oszi bacsi) and there is a kurtoskalacs stand which is a must.

It's a paying beach during opening hours, 9 am to 7 pm, but remains open 24/7 and it is free outside those hours. No hotel.

Finally the weather get back to feel summer with us.. Balaton lake this side one of the most beautiful .. enjoy to be stay there
