Bokodi Floating Village

It is a small wonderland, just like from the fairytales. Tiny houses with their own little pier. Recommend visiting just before dawn, or early morning. Also nice at sunset. These houses are privately owned and the owners take care of the lake shore. Please be aware that the owners don't really like photographers, tourist and people loitering the "neighborhood. Some piers are locked down from the public with small gate, but some are still accessible. Please respect the privacy of the owners, so we can come back to take pictures!

nice place to spend your weekend for one or tow days. and you could also visit Tata castle just half hour driving from the floating village. But you have to very careful the wooden path, they look not very healthy.

A very nice place to take pictures and i would recommend to visit at sunset or sunrise.
However the locals are very much offended by the visitors and they donot like tourists

Such a fun experience and picturesque landscape! Sometimes too many tourists. Too far for train trip. Only go by car! A lot of mosquitos, take spray.
