Excellent food “weiner schnitzel“ withe potato croquettes and a “small” lettuce salad. Nice atmosphere—easy for large groups—not too loud. Top notch service—none better.

Impressed with speed of kitchen, very delicious. Was a couple of days in Budapest and had 2 dinners here. Recommend!

The best Hungarian Restaurant in the city, much better than the overpriced downtown restaurants.
The portions are so big we shared, and still had to take some home.
Definitely worth the drive, it is a must stop on the way to the Gödöllő Castle.

I’ve been here regularly and our favorite dish is always their steak on hot stone.

Cook your own steak on a lava stone!
Do not touch that stone! They have a huge selection of fresh meat that can be cooked on the lava stone. Each one also comes with four different condiment and fries. Also a small bowl of mix pickles.
Great place with friendly service and huge portion of food. The decoration is very nice, bright and welcoming. Their bathroom have everything a hotel bathroom will offer + a bowl of mint candy...haha.
The place is a bit far outside of Budapest. However, it is a nice change of pace from the super noisy restaurants within Budapest.

This restaurant was a pleasure to eat in. I liked the goose liver with pear.
The steak on a hot stone is a must try as well!
The lamb chop is tender and well seasoned,as all of the dishes served with a great amount of veggies or salad.
Try to share one between two people first and order more if you are still hungry as the potions are large.

Very historical and local restaurant. It's stone barbecue is great, especially the beef, super delicious and juicy. Reasonable prices. Booking in advance needed.

Nosztalgia is the embodiment of the high quality traditions. Service is the nicest and wittiest form of how I remember from the 90’s and the quality of iconic Hungarian dishes are set high.
I usually pick the meat variety roasted on ‘lava stone’ which is the very thing people come back mostly for. However, they didn’t fail us this time either : the broccoli baked catfish with béchamel sauce hit the ceiling.
Don’t worry about stars and recommendations, just try what they cook for you from their hearts !

Outstanding true Hungarian cuisine. Definitely worth it if you're interested in amazing food and atmosphere.

We had a full bowl of the famous Hungarian fish soup, locally called "halaszle". It was awesome!

Good food and nice price. The hotstone beef steak is tender and side dishes are delicious. I like the various kinds of sauce. Salmon with mushroom is also a cool choice. Lemonade is tasty. But the gammon pork is sooo huge for 2 people. And I can't eat a lot due to greasy meat. Pic is that huge gammon. I don't quite recommend it.

Great place and delicious. Same price as Applebees but 1000 times better. Go Magyarország!!!!

Amazing food! The whole experience from start to finish was great. The boss was so friendly and welcomed us personally. The food can’t get better and the prices are fair for the portion size. If you are new to Hungary, I recommend that you make extra effort to eat at this place. It's truly a great spot to get great food.

Nice place we were there on a hot day the AC was on.You can find poultry,beef,fish and vegetarian dishes on the menu.Waiters were friendly and polite :)
