Baricska Csárda

Fantastic restaurant and superb food.
We tried one of each main and one of each dessert and both parents and three kids were in agreement to come back before the vacation is over.
Humorous and kind server, the price is very acceptable.
We would recommend to anyone wanting to try the Hungarian cuisine.

Our experience at Baricska Csarda was absolutely amazing! The beef stew with cottage cheese noodle was so tasty, and the grilled coat cheese with mixed salad and hazelnuts had us craving for more. The staff's warm hospitality and the vibrant ambiance made our lunch experience truly memorable. We're already planning our next visit!

Very good place. Food was amazing and service was perfect as well.
I can recommend fish soup and carp as appetiser.
We had pork leg and zander. Everything was delicious.
Sitting outside between grapes is also a place for romantic dinner.

Great restaurant, with great food. They really know what they are doing. They don't serve cola of other brands like that but have great alternatives. Would recommend it.

The best place you can go in Balatofured.
Staff is so nice, very helpful with dishes. It's traditional hungarian cousine. Food was yumi and there was live hungarian music in the restaurant. Top place!

This is the restaurant of Thetis Wine cellar. Ths staff is friendly, polite. The meals are amazing, so are the wines. The view from the Terrace is spectacular.

Wow ! Perfect portions (smaller than Hungarian meals ) had a duck leg which was Fresh and perfect , chicken breast , chocolate cake and vanilla ice cream ❤❤

Very good food, decent pricing. Where else can you get those view over here, vineyard, grapes hanging above your head, quality meat and wine, friendly and good service.

Wonderful place with delicious wine and hungarian cuisine. A real family atmosphere with lovely service. We highly recommend this place. Our dog was greeted every time as if he was at home <3

Excellent classic hungarian food, great atmosphere with live music and a nice view of lake Balaton. 100% can recommend! The catfish paprikas with the pasta is the real deal.

The ratings are not fake, the price and the quality is just perfect, in summer the place gives that feeling of "yes you deserved this vacation and this moment" 🤣

We have received a great food & service. In Hungary this was the first place where a waiter did a check-back at the table asking if everything was ok. Most restaurants dont bother. SuperB

The food was wonderful, though the portions were a bit limited. The restaurant is located on the side of a hill facing lake Balaton, but unfortunately the view is obstructed by real estate development projects. The terrace is a great pale to sit, as it's shady and cool even in high summer. Overall, I'd recommend this place for group lunches and dinners.

This is traditional restaurant on the edge of town, lined by a vineyard and with a great terrace looking out to the lake. The portions are a good size and the quality is very good. The service is not so attentive, rather a bit rushed, but this seems to be true for many restaurants in the area given that it's so touristy/busy. The only fault would be the size of the wine pour by the glass - very much on the small side. Some wine bars in town pour double the amount.
