Great restaurant where true hospitality still exists. Hearty portions, unfortunately we could not try the desserts. Even though it was busy, service was quick and excellent.

I have stayed in this recently built hotel for business purposes. Rooms are new and very comfortable, balcony was a chery on top of the cake... I especially liked the restaurant attached to the hotel, supertasty. Staff is polite, nice and helpfull. Way to go! Highly recommended.

It’s a great experience. The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. Amazing wines, food and service. Staff are knowledgeable and very friendly and make great recommendations!

We went with some local friends, for whom this is one of their favourite places. We would have to agree! Excellent, interesting menu for all tastes (inc. vege and vegan); great wine and superb service. Kid friendly options as well for 7 & 9 year olds. Next time we are near Lake Balaton on the south side, we will certainly return. A wonderful evening!

Good morning, I have travel the world and I have stayed in Balaton several times. I have to congratulate you for the concept, the room is soundproof, the breakfast was great, the fact that we were able to check-in late, the room and the hotel is spotlessly clean, the parking has cameras and we were able to park our motorcycle in safe place. Thumbs up! We will only stay here when in Balaton! Thank you!

Although special requests are eagerly met, the restaurant fulfills nearly all sorts of desires of real gourmets.

One of my very favorite restaurants in Hungary. Everything is amazing. Chicken paprikash and cabbage salad are highly recommended. Great vegetarian and vegan options as well. Service is superb. Atmosphere is amazing. Table should be booked in advance.

Due to the Michelin award we have tried this restaurant. I have to say that the experience was rather good. Our waiter seemed a bit of a rookie but apart from being a bit nervous, he was very polite and helpful.
We were advised that the portions aren't the normal gourmet sizes, where you need a magnifying glass to find them on the plate. Instead full portions, where a soup or even a dessert might be too much
We thoroughly enjoyed the meals & drinks, I think the price was acceptable, and the service was outstanding.
We arrived at 12 with booking and thought there was no point of prebooking, as the place was literally empty. Boy was we wrong. By the time we left, it was full, with a really good atmosphere.
I (and the restaurant also) recommend booking online or over the phone, to avoid disappointment.
Otherwise just immerse yourself in the smells and tastes, wines and beers, eat, chat and relax!

They serve a variety of simple, traditional Hungarian food prepared with high quality ingredients with a lot of attention to details. Definitely a place worth visiting!

We got a recommendation for this Hungarian restaurant and we were delighted. We didn't have a reservation so we returned in an hour to het our table.
The food is delicious and the portions are big. The food has a slightly sour note that goes really well with all the creamy and fresh vegetables. The goulash was surprisingly mild.
The staff is very quick and organized, making the whole experience very relaxed even tough the restaurant is very busy and crowded.

The food is amazingly delicious. They offer Hungarian dishes, which are amazing and have great vegan and vegetarian options. They also have gluten free options, and the staff knows what to recommend to fit your dietary needs. The staff is very professional and curteous, English speaking.

Great place to enjoy food and accomodation and slow down for a couple of days. The room is nice and comfortable. The breakfast is wonderful with local products. I loved the beautiful desert at the end of our perfect dinner. 😊 Thank you for the experience!

Excellent food with excellent service. The staff makes you feel very comfortable and tend to your needs with full attention the whole time you're there. The food is amazing and full of surprises with quite big portions. They have a huge selection of local wines and if you ask them, they recommend you the perfect bottle based on your preferences. I recommend making a reservation because usually they're fully booked.

Really good service and good food. At first we were seated by a big group of unruly children and their parents shouting over their kids' noise but they quickly found a quieter place for us. The staff was super nice and the dishes perfect. They don't charge a service fee (like a lot of restaurants in Hungary) but leave tipping for you, which is a huge positive for me. Will go back again.

If u wanna eat traditional Hungarian food this is the best place around. The staff is super friendly and helpful, prices are more than okay and the food is very delicious. And even if your stomach cannot handle the local cuisine they will make sure to help you out with a creative idea.
