This place is great for all kinds of Hungarian dishes and even some Austrian like schnitzel. One of the highlights was the starter called Hortobáyi palacsinta, which is basically goulash in a rolled up pancake, which tastes phenomenal. The outside area has a really nice view and there are many seats. Sometimes the wait for the wood is a bit long on the busiest of days, like when marriages are celebrated there. One of the best restaurants I have ever been to!

Quiet and well-hidden, has a terrace with a nice view, great traditional cuisine and a playground. Worth a detour! Especially pleasant during summer evenings.

I seldom give five stars. Worth more than one by the Michelin guide. Recommended for all those who detest microscopic portions and generally the hype around “haute dining”. Places like this deserve respect, not the overpriced “stars” you find in Budapest. I recommend this outfit to all who know and love traditional Hungarian cuisine or to those who don’t know it but just seek a nice evening dining experience.

It's hard to maintain constantly the highest level both in quality and service. This place done it again. Far, far one of the best in this area....Europe.

Great food, huge quantities, great prices, beautiful environment.

Great service and amazing food. The price was more than reasonable; we ended up spending the equivalent of about $50 for five people including drinks, dessert, and extra food to take home. The translated English menu brought amusement as an unexpected bonus!
