Károlyi Mansion, Fehérvárcsurgó

I'd like to split the review for every single department of this place as was just incredible maybe I didn't show the appreciation that day but I'm happy, they made our wedding special from staff members very professional and location anyhow let's get into it if you stick around you can get some good info that might get you an ideea of how great it is.

Rooms
The rooms are very spacious and they have huge beds, all of them have baths so buy your bath bombs. The beds are big and comfy, clean everywhere and the carpets so soft.

Reception
We got some really nice people that understood the fact that guests don't speak Hungarian or English and they had the patience to check in and out everyone.
Any favours we asked any questions we had they were more than happy to help the smile and commitment to the task was very welcoming and warm.

Location
The castle is a piece of art itself, looks lovely and the estetic of the rooms although sends you away in past you'll still feel in the 21 century.
Outside being a park the view from inside is just lovely, the entrance is as you see it online gracious with a lovely fountain and the castle is big.
You'll find little things that will make you smile there.

Waiting service
I'd like to say Heni the head waitress and the team at the wedding were just amazing you didn't realise that they were there, smiley and little jokes with the guests, and very attentive, the event went with no issues and I'm very happy with the catering team. I'd like to include in here the breakfast we had in the morning and Heni daughter that served us in the morning, great timing, helpfull to all our overnight staying guests.

Food service
The food was great I got only compliments from everyone, few of the kind words from our guests to the chefs: "food is delicious", " can we get more", "I can't believe this duck is so soft", " what is the recipe for this dish ?" And multiple more with this I'd like to end this section with Compliments to the chef ! No other comment

Overall not including other suppliers here the castle offered us a wedding without stress, an amazing day where the waiting staff and everyone else was doing their job properly offering us peace of mind.
Side note from the review I'd like to thank you all for this amazing night, I might have been a bit drunk in the end, but to the youngsters at the bar thanks for understanding and keep serving me that lovely votka.
From all my guests I got that "wow" factor that I was expecting but without the staff in this place that wouldn't be possible either so we both

Very interesting place. The owner's concern to retrieve historical pieces related to the estate as well as the local history are to be appreciated. Similar to previous landladies, there is a distinct care to help visitors get connected with the intellectual atmosphere on the estate. Books are everywhere and they are somehow related to life experiences that are relevant for the estate.

Everything OK. Spettacolare place and nice people. Good food

The staff is very nice, professional and helpful. The rooms are clean, nice, romantic. The kitchen is great. The park is amazing. Have here a romantic weekend with your significant other and the life will be more beautiful, and you will think this planet is a better place. If you would like to forget your work, e-mails, even mobile, give it a try, I bet you won’t regret.

A truly fantastic place!
Not only a nicely renovated period country home/museum with knowledgeable, friendly staff, but also a great place to stay. The location is amazingly beautiful, peaceful and quiet - well worth a long walk around the estates publicly accessible park. I would also recommend the guided tour to learn more about the place's interesting history and the restoration process!
Also, if you do stay in the hotel, give a try to the restaurant - they make great traditional, local food! I need to mention as well that all staff were amazing, very helpful and polite!

Historical place at its best, beautiful castle and surroundings. We enjoyed a stay in one of the smaller attic rooms and had a nice dinner experience (buffet style). Awesome!

Karolyi Mansion is not far from Székesfehérvár takes 15 minutes by car. Also possible by buss to travel.

This Palace will take your breath away. It was contracted in classic style. It has a luxurious restaurant. There is a Hotel here also. Not expensive, 100 EUR/ night.

Beautiful, clean, and fun place to stay and have dinner. Service was excellent and food/wine was the best in the country.

Food are amazing

An amazing tour of the castle, and the family history by guide Ms Fekete. Dinner at the restaurant hosted by Lajos was wonderful and amazing Salmon with risotto by Chef Eszter. My friend Alma had the special chicken with basil spaghetti also was divine . Topped by off by a restful sleep.Hats off to all. Chris from Australia.

We only experienced the hotel and restaurant, but it was delicious and comfortable. We were there for a wedding, it was beautiful, the food was great, the park was nice, so everything as it should be

Very beautiful castle relatively close to Budapest. Worth it to visit, have a walk and a nice dinner.

Beautiful castle with a large, peaceful park where you can take a walk after finishing your rich breakfast with a tea or coffee at the terrace. Journey back in time that switches you off entirely.

Food was extremely good and artistically presented. Catering personell was kind. The atmosphere is refined...like it would have been a century ago at the palace!

The surprise county restaurant of the year for me. This chateau kitchen could stand any michelin critics if it was located along the river Loire in France.

Always a lovely place to drop by. Restaurant is pretty decent too!

Peaceful, nice garden with a lake. Worth to visit anytime.
