Agard free beach

Well maintained place . Off season peaceful and relaxing . Birds watching opportunity , walking around with magnificent views of bunk lake in front of us is possible .
High season very busy and popular for beach ⛱ lovers . Many bars and fastfood places. Water attraction and discount shopping nearby .
Railroad tracks with many interesting 🤔 kinds of trains passing all day ,for original trains 🚂 lovers ,200 m along the road may be observe.

The water is brown due to the nature of the lake, but overall the beach is clean. Visited in September, on a week end, it was quite crowded. Not many places in the shadow.
There are (paid) toilets and cheap places for eating, on-site.
No tourists apparently, only locals.
Easily accessible by train from Déli or Kelenföld.

Beautiful, free beach, you can choose lots of food and drink, if you want parking close to the beach 1000 Hungarian forint, anyway I highly recommend

Close to the railway station, large grass beach with steps, shower, fast food, ice cream, small shops. No dogs allowed and this is taken seriously. Nice swans and ducks. Due to poor water quality it was closed from the end of July. Blue algae.

Great beach with long patch of grass along the shore. The lakebed is sandy without debris or aquatic plants under your feet. The depth of the water is optimal, like from 100 to 150 centimeters. There are several buffets along the beach with the typical beach menus. The beach is long enough (and it's far enough from the capital) to not get too crowded, not even in peak season.

Pretty good for going in the water with familys, you can enter the water with stairs

The highlight of my daily walks. The lake is always different. I think this is the best free beach by the lake. The grassy areas and trees beat any artificial sand, especially in the summer heat.

It is a really nice place to relax, the beach is clean, there is sports equipment rental available, food, cocktails, shower. There is a large shady parking area, however, there is a small charge for that.

Good public beach. There are some entertainment facilities and the restaurants are cheep and good. There are some shade, but don't forget to bring a parazol.
