Good park for beginners and intermediates (despite it's small size). The bus 1044 from Budapest serves the area.
Con: Rental, lockers, restaurant and Cashier are not together. As a tourist I was a little bit confused about that, but that's a minor.
Go for it!

Five stars is obv not because of massive terrain and amounts of snow, but for providing the absolute best snow experience possible given current weather conditions. In a winter with almost no snow, they managed to have full coverage on the main runs, keeping the main chairlift open, and providing a great family-friendly experience at an affordable price. This is not easy, or affordable, for a ski area to do. Hats off to them for doing it.

It's a small mountain and great for beginners.

As I am a non-Hungarian speaker, the attendant at the ticket booth was very helpful and professional when I purchased our tickets as it was our first visit.

When we were there the crowds were light (Saturday in early March) so there were minimal lift lines.

If you bring the proper attitude with you it will be a great day on snow.

The better one compared to Eplény ski arena in my oppinion.
Tracks are not the longest, but are more fun.

Hütte s offer good food.

I have been in the ski-park before, some 3 years ago. From that time I had some mixed memories; nice, beautiful place, with nice tracks, yet, my skis suffered a little from stones scattered over the surface of the snow.
Not this year. 🙂 The weather was a perfect one to go out and have some skiing. The slopes around were already showing the coming spring, yet the ski-park had a massive, well-put bed of ice, with really nice artificial snow on the top. It really draws praise to the guys making it possible, the snow machines most probably had been working all night before, so that the fans of winter could get a really nice opportunity to ski all day long. Literally. Started in the morning, and finishing with the last lift up having a sandwich-break only, the tracks were in a really good shape all day long. In the beginning of March! Very well done! They say it will be open till the end of March. Maybe will go back. 🙂
Try it, you will like the place. There is a blue, a red and a black slope, really good for a day of skiing. Very friendly and competent staff! So, go, Matraszentistvan! 🙂

This place made my first skiing experience memorable. Great hütte with good food and beverages. Ideal for beginners.

Adequate for 1 day skiing, ski slopes not that long

This is a good ski park with many different slopes. English language speaking instructors are very few, so for first-time learners, it can get a bit difficult. It is a great place that's reasonably priced.

We had Dora instructing us and she was fabulous with her assistant Bogi. The lessons are 80 mins and rentals are a bit expensive.

The food at the restaurant at Ski Park is decent.

Good and well maintained slopes. Enough snow canons and lifts for the size. Hütte is expensive but has a great hütte feeling. Well done!

I am a total beginner and for me this resort was excellent to start pick up some skiing experiences. I think this is a well managed place with quick access to gates and ski lifts. Comfortable and enjoyable ski resort with nice environment.

We've been there with two kids (7 and 9) for a half day. Loved it. Piste was OK for us with the kids. But I guess if you're a pro skier you'll find it a "bit" short.

Not a large place, but it is perfect for short ski Holliday, or learning and practice. It is also affordable and food is great in the huts

Good and well maintained slopes for the landscape and weather. Hütte is expensive and just bearable.
