Kreinbacher Birtok

We stopped at Kreinbacher for a lunch and a wine tasting during our day of touring around Somlo. First of all, the place is an architecture marvel. Just admiring the way the winery and the restaurant are constructed, already worth a visit. The bistro restaurant itself is highly recommended. While it was empty when we arrived (pre-season), both the food and the service were very good. The wines are very well crafted and well worth a dedicated visit for those who appreciate them.
Definitely a recommended experience. Will be happy to be back.

This is perfect relaxing place for us. We've been 4 times already and planning on going back many more times. Everything is excellent. The rooms, the service, the place itself. We love the food and drinks there, it is always a delight to taste the chef's creations. We recommend it very much.

We came very late to the restaurant as we were just looking for something to eat. We stayed at a location nearby. The staff was friendly to still let us order food, even if the kitchen just closed. We enjoyed the food and the vinegar spritzers.

Only at the end we found out that it is mentioned in the Michelin Guide.

It is a world class winery similar to the ones in California. Very modern and environment friendly design. The interior design as modern and different like the exterior. Every piece is picked carefully. The furniture is a mixed of modern design with old Hungarian everyday items creating an exclusive feeling. The wines were easy to drink for my pallet and it tasted different from other wineries due to the unique terra. The food was also good and a good complement for the wines. Definitely recommended.

We spent a night here and had dinner in their restaurant. The hotel is beautiful, it has this industrial style which we loved. The rooms were clean and pretty, the hotel staff were extremely nice and welcoming, the food at the restaurant was tasty and interesting, the location and the atmosphere is also top notch. We were very happy with our stay and we would definitely visit again. Also the wine tour was great, they charged 7000 HUF for a 2,5 hour long tour including wine tasting which is I think a very good price. It was educational and interesting and the tour guide was great as well.

The kitchen is simply 5 stars; very good. The setting is spacious which adds to the experience, but the music (cheap upbeat pop and house) really is killing for the ambiance. Yet, the food was too good to give only 4 stars, 5 stars it is.

What an amazing gem. Super clean, modern, comfortable beds, amazing design, superb view. Kind and helpful, knowledgeable service. And the food is the most gourmet I have tried in Hungary. The food menu with the pairing is to die for.
Absolute bow to the management and mainly to the chef. Well done guys!

Very lovely winery, most likely the best in the area.
They have take care about small details specially when it comes to wine production and interior design.
This place has s lot of potential with great restaurant and wine selection.
We recommend this place for 2 nights with wine tasting as execept of cycling and eating it's not so much to do.
Few recommendations from us would be to improve WiFi signal, checking experience and attention to English.

The food was just amazing! The sparkling wine super! We took a bottle with us to our lodging from the restaurant. We were only charged the cellar price. I would say all round splendid!

If you can only visit one place in Hungary, make it to the Kreinbacher birtok. I have been visiting Kreinbacher Birtok 2-3 times a year for a few years and I can clearly state that this is the only place I love in Hungary. You can feel Mr. Kreinbacher’s perfectionism in everywhere: hospitality, champagne, meals, and design. Excellent choice for a long weekend. I highly recommend the champagne tour to learn more about the philosophy and meet the place. The best way to start the morning is with a cranberry pancake.

A gem in Hungary's interior design scene. Perfect service and very nice food, almost fine dining food which was a big surprise for me. The wine region needed a place like this because the wines and sparkling wines are fantastic.

I come here often to drink a rose sparkling (chanpagne). We can't call it champagne but it tast better, no surprise overhere they get many prizes all over the world.

Very modern Hotel with not so many rooms. Lofty style in the restaurant and guestrooms with view on the hotel owened vineyard. They serve their on vine as well, no other alcoholic beverages such as beer though. Bucolic and enjoyable!

Very clean and tidy factory environment with latest machinery. Guide was welcoming and showed great expertise and love for wine and champagne production. The company also comes across as inventive and creative re developing new products.

The Kreinbacher Winery has contemporary space station design with a touch of steampunk. The is amazing, surprising and creative. Wine selection is great.
