LaBor Bistro & boutique hotel

Labor perfectly captures the serene excellence of Tokaj. Modernity yet approachability provides the perfect comfort. Staff are very professional and helpful. The food was made very quickly, which did not hinder its quality. Actually, it was possible to try new foods at an excellent price, too. This place did not disappoint, will definitely be returning.

Great food, great wine pairing advice from the waitress. She also gave good advice on which winery to visit. Turns out that winery is awesome

Great location in the center of Tokaj. Small boutique hotel, peaceful and quiet. Nicely arranged rooms . On the food side exquisite, good taste and attention to details.

We were delighted to be able to go to LaBor and had an amazing lunch. We were suprised as several locals had not recomended us going but our experience was great and the food was amazing. The plates are huge and definitely well served so go with an empty belly.

The food was great. However, we had to wait for an order a bit longer than expected because of a kitchen issue.

Probably, it is the best place in Tokaj.

What a shame we only discovered this gem on our last night in Tokaj! The food and wine was excellent: succulent mangalica with 2017 Merlot from Villány, and csirkepaprikás, turós czusza with a dry 2019 Furmint from Tokaj. Great service and reasonable prices to top it all off. What more can one wish for?

We had a lovely dinner here with excellent service. Our waiter was thoughtful, helpful and very knowledgeable about the wine list. The menu is creative and the food did not disappoint. We also really enjoyed the atmosphere at our outdoor table just to the side of the main square. Would definitely recommend a meal here.

Delicious food, fine dining and excellent service. Everything about the bistro is top notch! The restaurant caters to guests who are willing to spend a little bit more for very good quality food (which includes excellent presentations by their well-known and very talented head chef). The dining room is tasteful, elegant and keeps in line with their boutique theme which is also found in their 6 hotel rooms upstairs.

Downstairs guests have the chance of dining in their cellar, and do try some of their speciality to wines while you are there!

Very good place, with wonderful food and soup! Moreover, the noble wine and wine list here is very good.
The food is awesome I have to say. Good atmosphere, friendly staff, neat and clean environment. Although they don’t have the English menu, but they will introduce and recommend you in English.

Very nice place, relaxed atmosphere. Not much choice for vegetarians, but the vegetarian risotto was delicious! Great homemade lemonade, too.

Very-very kind staff. We had yummy mangalica burger with sides and special limonade with mint and local wine and finaly pannacotta. Price is a little high but due to the kindness, quality and taste you won’t regret. It is in the middle of the old down town, at a very authentic area. Will come back again.

Finally a quality place to enjoy some good gastronomy in Tokaj. The location is great, you can enjoy the view of the main square. They also serve great local wines and bottled craft beer too. I didn't try the whole menu yet, but everything i had was very good. Easily the best restaurant in Tokaj right bow.

LaBor Bistro was a very pleasant surprise, where you expect okayish things but get an experience which is at the higher end of the dining spectrum.

Cheers to the chef and the whole kitchen crew who provided dishes in a timely manner which were excellent in both taste and looks.

You can also taste local wines (of course) and local beer as well. BAZ brewery has excellent pilsner and whitbier on the palette.

It is not a cheap place, but you get quality for your bucks.

Very tasty food in great location of Tokaj region. The restaurant is situated in small square. It is easy to park there.

A new gourmand place to eat some really delicious food. Modern but "still" old Hungarian. Perfect vine selection from the area

Great stuff and amazing food! Caked in only couple hours ahead but they prepared a 3 course menu for my 8 people group. It was delicious and great value for the price!

Tasty food for reasonable price, professional staff - little misunderstanding solved on customers favour. It is really a safe choice :) Definetly will go once again while visiting Tokaj.
