I’m so curious why the rating is under 5.0 star. It has to be 5 stars! The food is amazing .. like really really good even the coffee is really nice plus great service. Nice atmosphere even every detail in the restaurant seemed to be perfect… they have a good taste! I would definitely come back in the future!

Nice styles place with really good food and last but not least the staff providing very good services.I hope to go there again when I have things to do in Gyöngyös.

A must try fine dining place around the area and I dare to add - in the country! The service is excellent and the chef does some magic in kitchen. Presentation sets the bar high but the taste beats it! I went with the wild boar and the choc fondant - Superb! Go with the wine the gentlemen recommends, it will be a perfect match! BoriMami is the best fine dining restaurant not just in Gyongyos, but around the area. The staff is super kind and professional, the food is excellent and creative qnd the atmosphere is also one of a kind. Finally a place where even the chairs are inviting and comfortable. The Hortobagyi Pancake was exceptional, hope this dish stays on the menu forever! Great to see such restaurants popping up not just in Budapest, but in the countryside as well. Well worth the visit!

After trying several similar gourmet bistros and acclaimed restaurants in Budapest, I believe this surpasses all of them in terms of food quality. And the prices are great, too!
Not knowing this town at all, and after looking for anything other than pizza that seems to be on offer, we fell upon BoriMami - and were extremely lucky to do so! It's in a relaxed, quiet setting, so it's a nice place to be, but best of all, the food was simply top quality. It really took us by surprise. It's one of those times when despite considerable online research, you can be lucky simply to stumble across a real gem. So, if you're driving to or from the Hungarian mountains (Bükk National Park), I would recommend making a stop at this place.

I had a weekday lunch at Bori Mami with my husband and my daughter. As it was a pretty cold day we had tea and we were impressed by the selection they had. I could say the same about the service and the quality of the meals. My daughter had a broth with chicken and vegetables and she loved it. My husband went for a seasonal goose leg and I had a vegetarian meal: baked celery "ravioli". The presentation was beautiful and the taste was rich. We had cheesecake and "lúdláb" cake as dessert which were a delight too! Highly recommended.
