Great vacation activity! We visited the Klis Fortress and the visit to the Olive Museum was included in the tickets for the fortress (10 Euros per person). That was lucky for us as we probably would've never come here if it wasn't for that. But the Olive Museum did not disappoint! The staff was super friendly and the tour through the museum and manufacture was roughly 25 minutes long and in English. We learned a lot of interesting facts and also were able to try a lot of their products. The price of 10 Euros for a visit to the fortress and the Olive Museum is absolutely reasonable. They have a nice botanical garden and a traditional Dalmatian Tavern. The food was delicious and nowhere else we were able to find anything like it. Again I would highly recommend this, we were very positively surprised by this one of a kind experience!

Following the advice of our friend, we visited the Olive Museum after touring Klis Castle, since admission for both is included in a single ticket. Not only did we learn some very important things about Olive Oil (maybe the only information I’ve ever retained from an actual museum tour), we were in for a totally unexpected treat when we visited their on-campus village for lunch. First of all, the village itself was romantic and beautiful. You have to see it to believe it. My wife instantly said, “I want to live here!” The staff were warm & welcoming, and the lunch menu was an EXCELLENT value for the meal & experience. The Mediterranean Gold is now my all-time favorite cocktail, and we’ll never forget their pillow-soft gnocchi. At the end, the Olive Museum and Stella Croatica team earned a place in our hearts, and the visit ended up being one of our Top 5 memories from our first trip to Croatia. We would do it again and again and again!

Such a worldly story in such a small place.
Their products are amazing, their story is inspiring and you feel so great in their store. So nice.

You can get the tickets as a combo with either Salona Roman ruins entry or fortress klis entry, both worth to explore.

Be sure to come way before 15h30, which is the closing time, because you will miss the tavern and village experience (we did, but the tour itself was great, as we're their products).

Came for dinner as part of a tour. Was by far one of the best meals I have ever had. The food was so fresh, full of flavour and cooked to perfection. The staff and service was absolutely amazing. I will dream about this beautiful place and the food!!

We were visiting the nearby Klis fortress and we were given a ticket to this museum. It was only 5 minutes drive away and it was such a hidden gem! Beautifully decorated garden, nicely maintained facilities and also very informative guided tour. They produce so much more than just olive oil, and you get to try/ taste their products at end of tour at the gift shop. We had lunch at the tavern there and really like the ice cream with olive oil. Overall a very enjoyable visit. Recommend to check it out if you’re in the area.

Great tour and history of olive oil production in the region. The shop had a great selection of food and beauty products made from the local ingredients.

You have to visit the olive museum. The tour is very interesting, in which you can see the passion and dedication put into their products, as well as learn a lot about the history of olive oil, and how to recognize a true virgin oil. You can try a lot of products in their shop. Not only olive oils, but also essential oils and beauty products. All natural.
I really enjoyed my visit.

Amazing!! We went yesterday with my family, it is so beautiful and fun. Our guide was super interesting and dynamic. You get to taste the oil, honey, candy and jam afterwards for free! The garden is breathtaking, and so are the old buildings. For only 10€ you get the olive museum tour AND a game of thrones fortress 5min away!!

You can the history of olive oil extraction and how olive oil played a role in Croatian economy. The place also has an in house shop where you can purchase. The kliss fortress entry ticket is complimented with the ticket to this olive museum. On weekdays you can also see their kitchen.

Unforgettable experience!!! This is MUST if you are in the area. You can taste samples of everything in the gift shop which means you will be bringing some amazing products home! Ha! But the best part is the meal in the village restaurant…OMG! It was amazing and the service was incredible. Ingredients are all from their garden and the prices are a steal!!! A standout during our weeklong trip!!!

Visiting here was a highlight of my trip to Split. I arrived early (on the 22 local bus from the city bus station) but I was welcomed by the lovely Dragica who was happy to chat to me about the family, the place and their history. My guide around the museum and gardens was informative and funny, he brought the place to life and shared a lot about the local area. The smell of sweets being made and herbs in the garden was amazing and all the tasting samples in the shop too. Thank you to the team for being so kind and the Andreas for helping me get to the fortress afterwards.

Lovely place with a great restaurant with home cooked meals and a shop to buy locally produced sweets, olive oils and cosmetics. Great gifts to bring home. We enjoyed the museum and the tour around the place. Absolute recommendation! Do not miss it.

Nice place to visit. There are many products you can try and taste which makes the experience even better :) The olive museum is very interesting, and the garden is nice to walk around in.
The restaurant is vegan friendly is you ask the waiter to tweak the veggie dish a little.

It’s a shame that you have to buy a ticket for both this amazing place and the fortress which we are bot very interested in visiting.

I fell in love with Olives and Croatia because of this place. We tried to bring as much of their products back to the US with us as possible. The restaurant was 5 star delicious. The tour was so fun and informational. I miss this place every day.

What a lovely place to visit. After a visit to the fortress it seemed a good idea to walk here. How delighted we were to do that. The museum tour was great and very informative. The goodies in the shop were soooo good too. Mustn’t forget the tavern where we had a lovely bite to eat. Everyone should go here. Can’t quite believe the lack of reviews. Thank you so much.

This is by far one of the most best places to visit, while being in croatia!

The tour is around 20-30 minutes, very compact and still very interesting!

You have plenty of time after the tour to enjoy the garden, the museum and the great food, and get premium oil, soaps, honey, creams and stuff like that, manufactured by the family.

We love it!

Amazing restaurant / shop / educational tour. As a vegan I thought I would only be able to have maybe bruschetta, however they were able to do a whole 3 course veggie meal. Honestly the highlight of our Croatian trip, everything was phenomenal even the wine!

Short tour of the museum was nice and entertaining with history of Croatia and olives. On top of that they have an interesting assortment of Croatian sweets, high quality olive oil and more. It's in a quite unique spot in hills. Nice detour when visiting Klis fortress.
