Apartments Stari Šibenik

This restaurant has excellent home cooking food. Also excellent house wine and very tasty olive oil. Mirko, the owner, is very nice, speaks German and Polish. His after meal cognac taste like heaven.

For many years during the holidays, we have been customers of "Old Sibenik" and we say that it is the best restaurant between Sibenik and Primosten, including both of these cities! The owner Marko, called by us "the count" due to his posture and humour, together with his son, present the finest dishes of Croatian cuisine in the restaurant menu, including specialties outside this menu for special orders in advance. HIGHLY RECOMMEND, we have been coming back here every year for the last nine years!!!

We have been visiting the STARI SIBENIK restaurant for many years now. This restaurant offers high-class Dalmatian cuisine, always fresh and tasty, and is run by a very nice Mr. Mirko. We highly recommend! Must visit! :)

It was an extraordinary place to eat. The servìce was very good. I had dalmatian steak with gnocchi which were delicious. It is a family owned restaurant which you can definitely taste. From the olive oil to the wine which they both make themselves. Cannot recommend enough.

Very friendly place, wide selection of delicious and unique foods even off season! Perfect home made wine made by the owner as a hobby. Fast serving, a perfect all round restaurant in every season. 100% recommended

I have to say that I have had the best fish I have eaten in Restaurants in recent years. it was really delicious with Galic. If I'm ever around again, I'll definitely go there. it is really recommended. I was sorry, although it was so delicious, there were few guests because of the location.

Very exquisite restaurant. Excellent service which traditions are passed from father to son since 70's. I am strongly recommend octopus with home-made white wine, as well as other home-made dishes

A little hidden family restaurant with amazing food and service from the heart. We really did enjoy the evening. They have their own olive oil which is still manufactured the old traditional way. One of the best I ever had in Croatia. They also have their own red wine, Babić. Very delicious. Also the best black risoto I ever had. And shark, very well prepared. We were super surprised at the end, it is a real value for money!!!

Special compliments to the lady, who is taking care of the cleanliness of the whole area. Me and my husband run hotels ourselves so I tend to be very critical, but this was a 5 star cleaning standard. ;)

Me with my wife have stayed in the Stary Sibenik Apartments for 9 days. Almost every day we had lunch in the restaurant and have tried all the menu 😄 We met Luca - the owner and we became true friends. He made us feel welcomed and we had many interesting conversations about Croatia and local culture and food.

Every meal was delicious, made from fresh ingredients, which Luca's dad bought every morning in the local market in Sibenik. Fish, meat, grilled vegetables and potatoes were so good, that we kept ordering them again and again😅

We definitely recommend this place, especially if you want to experience real Croatian cuisine and hospitality.

We eat octopus, risotto, home made white wine and tiramisu. Everything was fresh and delicious. The owner and server are very kind, they make you feel at home. Cute environment. If you are looking for traditional and fresh seafood, this is the place to be.

We tried many restaurants in the area, but never received such a good customer service and the original Dalmatian food. Family run business and everything is freshly prepared. The best taste on the coast and you won’t see hamburger, pizza, kebab or other BS here which is widely available on Croatian beaches.

Very nice frendly owner Mirko wears a funny papillon bow and teaches you croatian while he takes your order. Dishes are big and prices is fair.
We waited a bit long but enjoyed siting on balcony and drinking his homemade white wine which was very good.

By far the best restaurant in the area.

Very good food, nice waiter, menu in at least 3 languages (Croatian, English, German) with very accurate pictures. Very reasonable pricing.

Very pleasant waiter who recommend us delicious octopus/seabus with potatoes and lokal white wine.
They don't accept bank cards, only cash (Kuna or Euro).

Very nice place, amazing view to the sea from the rooms. The food is delicious and the family who owns the place are charming. Little kid friendly place not far from the sea.
