Kanjon Kamačnik

First time visit July 2023, with my husband, we both loved it so much! Great hiking trail! Maku sure you have a proper sport shoes on, parts of the trail are small rocks and tree roots. Not crowded, free parking and restaurant at the entrance. Definitely recommending!

This beautiful hiking trail leads to the spring of Kamačnik river. It takes about one hour to reach the spring. You can park your car really close to the entrance.
The trail is mostly a beaten path, with gravel and small rocks throughout. It's not possible to cycle on the path. It's also not advisable to take kids younger than ~6 years.

Beautiful mountain gorge for a light hike.
Entrance is trough a restaurant terrace.
There is a ticket point further on up the road.

Beautiful escape to the nature, so green in the spring! The walk is easy, flat most of the time and takes around 1 h to reach the spring of the river (3.2 km). If you don't feel like walking, you can stop after about 15 minutes since this first part of the walk is the most beautiful. It's where you actually walk above the canyon on series of lovely bridges. Entrance is affordable and it's placed near a lovely restaurant where you can eat outside beside the river.

Absolutely stunning trail with out of this world nature scenery and such a bright green colors mixed with golden leaves in Autumn.

Kamačnik Canyon is a beautiful natural phenomenon. It is especially beautiful and worth a visit in early fall.

Popular hiking place with beautiful nature. Suitable for familys with small children. Perfect one day excursion.

Jako lijep kanjon, pogotovo u samom početku. Preporučujem odlazak u ranim jutrarnjim časovima ako se ide vikendom, zbog gužve na stazi! Hrana i usluga na ulazu/izlazu za svaku pohvalu!

Predivna priroda. Ulaznica je 5 eura.
Staza je prilično nezgodna na nekim dijelovima, nije baš za malu djecu i starije ljude. Hrana u restoranu je bila super, pogotovo štrudla od borovnica.

U proljeće i jesen jako sklisko što bi se možda trebalo napomenuti, priroda je prekrasna, ali odrzavanje staze je minimalno ili nikakvo. Vidi se da su neki radovi nastupili po djelovima staze pa ce mozda do idućeg ljeta već biti veći sadržaj i ugodnije šetnja.

Prekrasna priroda. Obvezno ponesite piće, neŝto za pregristi i tenesice. Ima 2 sata hoda u jednom smjeru i 2 natrag. Mi nismo brzo hodali. Imali smo štapove za hodanje i puno su nam pomogli.

Predivna uređena šetnica u srcu Gorskog Kotara. Dan prije bila je jaka kiša tako da je zadnji dio staze, prije izvora, bio poplavljen pa nismo uspjeli doći do kraja, no proveli smo 3h u ugodnoj šetnji na svježem zraku okruženi zelenilom i šumom vode. Svakako vrijedi posjetiti, još jedan od dragulja Gorskog Kotara!
