TUI BLUE Makarska

This was one of the best hotel experiences for me. The location of the hotel is very convenient. You have the beauty of the mountains and the sea at the same time. The hotel staff are beyond great, excellent, professional and kind. Our room was very clean. Breakfast and dinner were served professionally. My friend Emir was always cheerful in the kitchen and served the best chicken fillets. I hope that I can return to this hotel again at a reasonable price.

I'll be talking about the public beach near this amazing looking hotel. Very quite area. A bit wavy sea that i find beautiful. There is a restaurant near with affordable prices. All in all for me one of the best beaches on Makarska riviera. The only thing is that there is no shadow at all so if you tend to get sunburns avoid it or bring sunbrella 😁

Beautiful hotel located right on the beach! Very good standard on everything. Room was beautiful, and after our request for an upgrade, we got an even better room, with pool right outside the door. Very friendly englishspeaking staff all over the hotel. Well equipped gym, with both stationary equipment, freeweights and cardio machines. Towels for the beach were provided by the hotel for free. Sunbeds and umbrellas down at the beach, is free of charge for hotel guests. This is a quiet, adults only hotel. Live music some of the evenings.
Breakfest was one of the best hotel breakfests we have seen. Very large buffet, with all kinds of eggs, bakery, coldcuts, fruit etc etc. Also good variety of vegan products.
We had a wonderful week at this hotel, and can highly recommend it!

Loved the location and sea views. Friendly helpful staff. Everyone spoke English. No screaming kids. Good evening entertainment. Liked the pebble beach. Crystal clear sea. Great choice of food. Best foreign holiday I've ever had.

I have give location 5 star however it is a two hour drive from the airport.
The hotel is clean and tidy in a great location on a peddle beach. The cost of everything has gone up due to changing to the euro for example €5 a large beer €14 for a double brandy €3.50 for a small bottle of sprit and €24 for a small bottle of sun cream yes €24.
The staff are all friendly and willing to help you, the pool staff are great and can't fault the cleaning staff.
The food is good and alot of variety.
What else is there to say would I come back YES

It was amazing vacation... By the sunny days we enjoyed the beach and pool. Special thank to Tui Blue Guide - Medo for his fitness program, he made us forget about the bad weather and let us enjoy our holidays with more fun and training.

Beautiful hotel, with an intimate feel, perfect getaway for us as a couple, the best hotel breakfast I ever had and very nice staff.
Our balcony had the most beautiful view to the sea, and we enjoyed the hotel terraces for breakfast and coffee every morning.

I like the most that the hotel respects public space and the public beach infront of the hotel is used as such - by both hotel guests as well as all other people. As a Croatian I really value this.

Our stay was great without exception. The hotel is beautifully located, clean and has everything you need. The sea was crystal clear and just beautiful. Although igrane is a small place, there is everything you need and if you want to do a bit more, Makarska is 20 minutes away.
The best thing about this hotel is the team! Whether it's reception, bartenders, waiters or room service, everyone is incredibly friendly and helpful and a real pleasure to interact with. We have never been in a hotel with such incredibly nice and competent staff.

Everything was excellent. We enjoyed a room with sea view. The room was quiet and clean, the bed is comfortable. At the breakfast buffet you have a large selection, same for dinner. Everything was tasty and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I will visit this hotel again 👍🏻

If you need a peaceful relaxing holiday this is the hotel to stay in It is just that, but also clean and tidy from the entrance to the pool to the rooms and the beach,
It is tucked away between the mountains and the coast and 2hours from Split airport but the drive is worth it along the lovely coastal road,
The food is buffet but always ample to choose from and the restaurant over looks the sea where if you are lucky you will catch a glimpse of the dolphins.
All the staff and team are friendly and helpful, Thank you for such a relaxing week away,

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel.
The location is superb - Igrane is a small cozy village with cafes, a grocery store and some small souvenir shops. We were here in July, park tourist season, but it didn’t feel crowded or anything.
The hotel is located next to a nice little beach (it’s a rock beach btw), which is easily accessible from the hotel. You can rent a sup board and sun beds for an extra fee.
The service at the hotel was great, the staff was very friendly and helpful.
We had a room with half board and the breakfast and dinner buffets at the hotel restaurant were superb. Great selection of food: meat, seafood, and vegetarian options.
Overall we were very happy with this hotel and can totally recommend it ❤

I liked our stay very much! If you want to spend your holidays peacefully, it will be the best choice to make. Beautiful landscape, not so many people, great cocktails at the bar. I would recommend paying for all-inclusive, because meals are great, and there are not so many cafes nearby.

Gorgeous surroundings, eg, sea all along the coast. See the sea every day when waking up, eating, and walking around.
Fantastic service. Always supportive towards deaf customers. Pretty cultural village.

We (couple) have re-visited this hotel for the reason we loved it the first time in 2021. We loved the location, atmosphere, cuisine, and most of all the staff. The hospitality, friendliness and overall warmth is something we don’t see often and seeing faces we saw already in 2021 is a great welcome and indicator this hotel runs well. It did not disappoint; this time we were staying in one of the ‘non- sea view’ rooms – I’ll call it a bungalow-room as it is 2 room little house entity – and we loved everything and more. We have a feeing hotel even improved in hospitality and quality of the provided service from food to activities and profesionalism. So see you this summer again and TY for beautiful memories in 2022!

First 2021: From the first day to the last day, it was perfect. Hotel is – small and CLEAN! Not just rooms, also beach, restaurant, overall surroundings. Location is quiet (Igrane is not Makarska), settled between the mountains and sea, very small village, with a shop, some trinket shops (kiosks), some ATMs, restaurants (very decent ones though!), one or two ice cream places, and bakery and that is about it.
Spacious rooms, great beds, showers and in rooms have all you need. Bars are a bit small and in the evening you needed to be a bit patient (i guess as all in formula is gone from 2022, that will change too). I recommend sea-view room, if it is your first time in this hotel. It is special waking up and seeing vast blue sea barely few meters away from your terrace. The beach is a typical dalmatian pebble beach, great to get in the sea (just not barefoot). Coast is perfect for swimming; sea is clean and at least we haven’t had problems getting free spot next to the sea. As the beach is great and we <3 Adriatic Sea, the pools haven’t seen us much. TBH infinity pool is more an infinity bath, but I guess good enough to chill and close to one of two bars.
The staff is very attentive, pleasant, and helpful (typical Dalmatian hospitability) and also TUI staff maked sure we felt welcomed and quite special.
Food was very tasty. And variety of it, was sufficient. It was veggie forward, with a Dalmatian / Croatian signature, which made it really perfect for us. Servers in the restaurant were pleasant and attentive and served fast and even though the restaurant is small and can get very busy during dinners, and all covid restrictions made surely more difficult for staff. We had all in, and as we heard from 2022 not an option anymore (only half-board). THE A-LA CARTE restaurant - one of the best hotel restaurants! It is beyond what one expects from restaurant connected to the hotel; setting, servers, and food – all on the seriously high-quality level. Enjoyed tremendously (and several times in 14 days).
I would advise against booking this hotel for anyone who cannot deal with slopes and stairs .
Perfect: couples who want a break in a beautiful little town, surrounded by incredible nature. Best for recharging batteries, when you say, you know what, I just need to chill a bit, perhaps excursion or two for the rest, I just don’t want to be bothered.
Comment => perhaps have a bit more information on options to have excursions, information on bus stop locations, and timetables and also surely present more clearly what all is possible to experience in the hotel itself, cocktail classes, special dinners in the a-la-carte, wine pairings ... It would be great to have one source of information somewhere to be sure not to miss anything we don’t want to. Sure, TV screens, presenting possible activities are fine, but noone waits to see all info (except me?). Also there was some miscommunicaiton what is available and what not base don what was on the screens and what TUI / reception at that time knew (a non issue)
Because of staff, food, location, cleanliness and gorgeous setting, we will see you again this year- for even bit longer this time!

A slice of paradise on the Makarska Riviera.

If you are on the hunt for a relaxing and laid-back holiday, look no further than the TUI Blue Makarska in the seaside village of Igrane.

So many things make this hotel great, but today I’ll focus on three.

First, the great location. Although 90 minutes from Split airport, the transfer time is worth it. The hotel's location on a small peninsula along the Makarska Riviera coast lends itself to spectacular views, all-day sunshine, and quick access to the crystal clear waters of the Adriatic Sea. The village of Igrane is a short 100 metres away but conveniently situated so that the hustle and bustle of the many shops and restaurants do not interfere with the peaceful tranquillity of the hotel.

Second, the food. My partner and I decided to go for half board this time, as we didn’t want to be searching for restaurants every evening. The selection of food is varied each night and plentiful. The desserts are simply delicious, and the choice of Croatian wines is also great. There is a bar in the main lobby, a poolside bar and a sunset bar, and an a la Carte restaurant (The Culinarium) with a view of the sea.

Third, the staff. All friendly, all welcoming, and all tirelessly and seamlessly making sure your stay is enjoyable and relaxing. The team are an asset to the hotel and helps to make the experience memorable.

I have no trouble recommending the TUI Blue Makarska for couples looking for a relaxing stay.

First I'd like to add, if you're planning to visit any Tui Blue hotels download the "TUI BLUE" app. All booking, reservations and information is found there. The website doesn't really offer the information you are looking for, the app is the way to go.

And for the hotel...

The hotel is an hotel for couples. It's for adults only and our experience here has been really good. The staff is really friendly and if you have any requests they will fix it within 24h. The breakfast is a buffet that is really good and offers alot of options, the dinner offers alot of options aswell in the form of a buffet.

The hotel offers alot of activities during the day which is optional to participate in, but really fun. For example water gymnastics.

The rooms are cleaned everyday and the hotel management will do their absolute best to meet your requests, whatever you demand.

The hotel as a whole is awesome and I really had a joyful experience! I can't recommend it enough!

The whole experience was amazing! It was a very relaxing retreat with great food, views and staff. Big thanks to Josip for showing my wife and I around the property and good conversation. Josip is very warm, friendly, helpful and spoke English very well. We were sad to leave at the end of our stay but we will definitely be back and would recommend this amazing resort to anyone considering a trip to Croatia.

Wonderful experience. We have AI and Sea view room and everything was just perfect. Also parking was not a problem. A lot of free parking spots all arround the hotel. Personal is very friendly and the variety and taste of food is amazing. It is worth every €.
