BALUN

I’m from Texas and I came to Croatia for the first time and this restaurant was suggested by many citizens!
I had such a blast, guests were very sweet, especially workers. Workers made sure you have everything you need and the food was so good!! I’m on a diet and I will tell you I did not care about my diet (:
The blonde waitress with glasses was very funny, she looks like Taylor Swift.
Anyways, you should definitely visit!

Our seven day kayaking holiday around the Elaphite Islands included three night’s accommodation in Sudurad, with breakfasts provided by Balun. A table was set up with a great choice of excellent foods, with far more that the three of us could possibly eat, and all fresh and tasty. We also enjoyed drinks on the floating terrace each evening. Balun helped make this a great holiday.

Great place for grabbing a bite (Cevapcici recommended) or enjoying a coffee or a beer close to the port. They do have some great wines too. Very friendly staff!

Lovely small harbor terrace over the water. Delicious sea bass and grilled squid portions. We were able to pay by credit card.

I had some ćevapi. They were to die for! The cocktails are great. I also had a cheesecake, that was also great. The decoration is nice, the staff is friendly and they also own the shop right next door, so that is really convenient. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone and everyone.

The best bar on Sipan! Very friendly staff and the owner, always happy to help. The bar is very well run! Food is very good! Pizza or cevapi, both very tasty! Lovely evening on the 20th year's anniversary of the bar! Hopefully will be returning soon! 🙂 ♥ L

While it would be easy to simply say that the Balun is the only bar in Sudurad, this would be a great disservice to the owner. A lot of effort has been put into renovating the bar and it is a great little establishment with comfortable inside seating and an outside terrace that actually projects over the harbour.
We stopped by most days of our visit to the island and greatly enjoyed chatting to the owner who, among other things, had a shared interest in craft gin (sadly, we succeeded in finishing his last bottle of a rather excellent Italian gin).

Excellent place to drink and eat with amazing view. Staff is really kind and helpful. Food is amazing and well prepared.
