Veladrion Resort

We spent 8 days at the resort and had an absolutely wonderful time.
The staff was friendly while very professional, always making sure we are having the best experience. The executive chef Filip is very talented and put in effort for us to have the best culinary experience using local products and daily catches.
Overall the resort was very relaxing, with excellent rooms and facilities and amazing views. But really the staff makes all the difference and they all brought it to next level.

We stayed for 5 nights and it was perfect. If you are looking for a calm and relaxing stay with the highest standards of service on the Croatian coast with delicious food. Come here! From the moment we arrived we were welcomed in all luxury, from parking our car for us, to unloading our things, to warmth and smiles from everyone working here to the beautiful and clean room, the two pools etc... It is a wonderful place. I have seen more stylish or higher finished surroundings (outside). But it didn't matter the service made us feel so relaxed. It doesn't end there. If you stay here have dinner at their restaurant. We had dinner here every night and were very happy with the food and wine options. I wish I could give more stars than 5!

Literally the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in (and I’ve stayed in a few). Glorious grounds, elegant furnishings, magnificent situation, charming attentive staff and wonderful food. The whole is simply magical.

This was one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at in Croatia, and I come often. This was not only a hotel but a full experience. From the time we pulled the car through the front gate to the time we left, we felt like we were in someone’s home.

The reception was waiting in front to take our luggage and park our car, welcome drinks, and easy checkin. From there the grounds were amazing, you had the sea and the hills to walk around, a garden, creek, infinity pool and bar, and a wonderful restaurant where the food was just so die for (also reasonably priced compared to many locations in Croatia now). They also had boats that could take you out on excursions if planned before. We used all the spa amenities as well.

The staff was so nice we were walked around by the director of the hotel where she told us a historical story of Casa Nova porting in the harbor, and drank from a creek he did. When leaving they let us do a very late checkout so we could walk to the mother Mary statue on the hill. Our only regret is that we spent less than 24 hours there. Thank you!!!! We will be back !

Amazing experience, great hotel with great location and beautiful rooms. Stuff was so nice and at our disposal for everything. Location and nature arround hotel is amazing. Food is brilliant based on local specialties and at the top level that gives amazing experience, and combined with top vines it just wow!

Veladrion is a beautiful hotel with excellent staff and facilities designed for rest and pleasure.
The room was big enough, beautifully decorated with fantastic welcome gifts (dry figs, chocolate, fruit...) and a view of the sea (which is a few steps from the hotel). To present to what extent they go with the details – there was handwritten welcome note from the hotel manager and a card with a name of housekeepers who were responsible to keep the room tidy.
Veladrion won me over the most with its gastronomic offer and the chef (Filip Akrap), who works wonders with local ingredients. Before each course, the chef explained to us what he had prepared and where the ingredients he used came from (that's how I know it's local). The offer of spirits and wine list is superb and adapted for everyone's taste.
The property surrounding the hotel is enough for people who like a more active holiday and long walks, and there are many interesting locations in the area that you can visit (I recommend Zavratnica bay).
By my experience, this is a hotel that offers more than others in this price range. Definitely a place I will go back to

We verbleven 5 dagen in Veladrion tijdens onze huwelijksreis en hadden er een ongelooflijke tijd! Het is een prachtig hotel op een geweldige locatie met een uitzonderlijke service. Je hebt er al de luxe die je mag verwachten en het is de plek bij uitstek om tot rust te komen. Het personeel was heel vriendelijk en hartelijk, professioneel en hulpvaardig. Het niveau van service - zonder uitzondering - is uitzonderlijk!Het restaurant maakte elke dag speciaal iets vegetarisch voor mij klaar, ook al stond dit niet op het menu. Het eten was heerlijk!
