Bar and restaurant Merlon

I’ve stayed at one of rooms and it was really good experience. You are able to park next to apartment. Room had everything you need and it is pleasingly comfortable. I had breakfast included and don’t hesitate to eat anything here.

We had a burger and a sausage platter – the food was tasty but the platter was meant to come with sauce which never came, despite the waiter saying he would bring it 3 times. That said, he was solely trying to cope with about a dozen elderly posh English on a tour who were an utter nightmare (we were beside them and they were truly dreadful people). He was run ragged then they insisted on paying individually and not one of them left him a tip and barely acknowledged him the whole time. We left a good tip and felt obliged to make sure they knew we were Scottish!

Nice service combined with excellent food. One of my best pljeskavica and cevap experience of all.

Stylish good pub and some comfortable rooms above. The staff in the bar and the restaurant area were friendly and they have a great choice of drinks and some typical bar food like burgers, wraps, ribs etc. The breakfast is really good, although you can have only 3-4 different options. English breakfast, eggs, fruits and something cold cuts. Perfectly OK. The room is quiet and tidy. Recommended place to stay in Osijek.

I had a stay in the rooms so I will review breakfast and my second meal.

I took fitness breakfast, was okay, got around 50g of cottage cheese, apples already oxidized so I suppose they were cut off some time before. Nevertheless, it was good.

Sliders burgers were really good. French fries were okayish. The waiter and the service in general are extraordinary and professional.

Prices are good, not expensive and most of the things fall down in generally cheaper range. Interior design is proper.

Had lunch here during our visit to Osijek. Fantastic spot. Great menu, lots of vegetarian options. Beer on tap was perfect. Fish and chips were delicious. But best of all was the service from Mikhovail , very kind and personable and even had us try his favorite Rakia! 100% recommend.

Great food and the service is excellent also. Our waiter (Marko) was very patient with our international guest, answering all of their questions about the wine, food, and so on.
Rooms are very nice, very clean.
Breakfast is also very good, many choices available.

Excellent vegan option in Osijek! Four different burgers (including Beyond) and other vegan and vegetarian dishes on the menu. Decent prices in the heart of historic area. I tried the sweet potato and corn burger with fries and totally recommend it. Friendly staff and a lovely outdoor patio area are a nice bonus too.

Great food, try the ribs here! Very friendly waiter and excellent service.

Friendly staff, affordable prices, good quality food. Rooms are big and clean. Only downside is noise from the pub, but its not a huge issue. Highly recommended.

The food and prices ar much more then fair. Served food was amazing, big portions and tasty as hell.
City of Osijek is outstanding and if ever come back to the town I won’t miss Merlon place.

Excellent burgers and similar fare. Be sure to try "Slavonski burger" - large patty, hot(ish) sauce, grilled peppers... Pork ribs are also very good. Decent selection of beers, small but well chosen selection of wines. Separate bar and dining section, the latter in bright glassed-over patio. Young, enthusiastic staff. Very reasonable prices.
This is a perfect place to recharge after sightseeing Tvrđa (unless you are after local, Slavonian fare - there is no shortage of that kind of places around).

I really love this place in a heart of old town of Osijek. They put a lot of effort in being different and always up to new trend. Cosy atmosphere, a place you wanna go back to.

If you ever visit Osijek, don't miss Beer House Merlon in Old Town Tvrđa. Excellent cuisine and a great place to relax during your sightseeing.

The staff is very kind and friendly, rooms big and clean. The food is excelent. I would recommend everyone to stay here!
