Proper traditional food. :) Everything, from soup to desert was wonderful. The chef is using high quality home grown ingredients and you can taste it. The atmosphere is cozy and warm.

Although we were told about the excellence of this restaurant, nothing can be better than personal experience. In the first step, let's solve the basic check-points that I observe when arriving at each new restaurant. Neatness, cleanliness, visible personal design details, toilet area: check!
After lunch, it was clear to me why many people drive from Zagreb to Vrnjakovac to have lunch at Đurđa's. The extraordinary quality of the meal, and the immediate, sincere approach of the staff make this experience truly special. 5/5. Not to forget, they are dog friendly as well!!! ♥♥♥

Everything is homemade and delicious, owners are very friendly and nice. Portions are big and the prices are reasonable. Ambient is cozy but prepare yourself for some Christian music but it's quiet and non intrusive. Parking is scarce but you can park on the street without problem. Toilets are clean but the faucet is a bit hard to operate.
You can ask owners for permission if your dogs are allowed to enter, we haven't had issues. I recommend you try schnapps with 6 herbs.

I ate here with a friend who is local and made me ride here from Zagreb with him. Definitely worth it.

Domestic food, hard to find these days

The restaurant closes around 18, which was scraping it a bit close on our schedule, but the staff was kind enough to stay open an entire hour extra for us. The food was genuinely delicious, we had 2 x the duck and 2 x the cordon bleu (or the Croatian equivalent). We were also given an extra doggy bag with Strüdel. 6 out of 5 possible.

Superb food, can be crowded, so better call if u plan to stop by on weekend.
