Restaurant da Giovanni Medulin

We were there as a group of 18 and they arranged everything for us. They spoke to us in German (our native language) and the food was good. Not great, but the price was definitely right and the service was wonderful. They gifted us shots and joked with us. (Bonus points because the supposed owner had a cute baby)

We ate here 2 days in a row, because when you like something, why change it! An extra complement to the dutch "speaking" waiter! The food was good, the price was very good, but the service was even better! Everybody was working really hard and still smiling, even when it was 35 degrees! Respect guys! and keep up the good work! Top class restaurant, food quality was the best our group of six had in the two weeks we were staying in the area, the menu has 16 pages of food with a wide variety - far more variety and completely unique dishes compared to any other restaurant

A great experience! Spontaniously called to make a reservation for 9 and had a really great evening. The restaurant is nice and service is perfect. Always on the spot and they even speak german. The menu is large and offers somerhing for everyone. There are also kid-size dishes. Prices are fair and we were very positively surprised! Thanks a lot for this great evening!

We tried some other restaurants in medulin also, but da Giovanni was absolutely best. Perfect place with nice stuff and one of the best foods I've ever tasted. We had fish plate for 2 persons and it was something amazing.

We tried a little of everything, salad of octopus, beef steak and local kind of pasta (pljukanci) with shrimps...all of it was delicious. For desert tiramisu, pannacota and pancakes with nutella....tiramisu one of the best, it is a must! Great service and kind stuff.

Good place with testy food, pleasant armosphere, and good service. The prices are average in the city.

Excellent all around. We were able to park easily, have a lovely meal with many vegetarian options, and the service was pleasant. The tomato mozzarella salad was wonderful and I also enjoyed the cannelloni stuffed with spinach.

Great food, especially steaks, they get meat from a private farm. Kind and professional staff. Very reasonable prices and high quality food.

Great experience. Good food and excellent service. We shared with friends two 2-persons plates, one fish and seafood based, one grilled meat mix. Both were very good way to try local food varietes. Also, very good local Malvazjia wine.

We are two Families of 9 people all together. We've been here three times through our vacation. Really do reccomend this restaurant. Staff is super nice. Food is (godlike) delicious in compare of other restaurants!
