Second time here in a year. We will always reserve a table here in the future.
All the food was amazing and delicious but shout out to very nice waiter named Dino as well - everything was on point and much more. Simple food but made on a special way with passion. Bravo to the team Škafetin!

Lovely family owned restaurant. Everyone in our group enjoyed their food a lot. We had mussels, seafood pasta, tuna steak, sea bass, and the aubergine starter. Every dish tasted fresh, with good quality ingredients. Portions are a good size. Desserts were also very tasty. The waiter tells you the menu for the day and prices. Staff were warm and friendly. This is not the cheapest place but for the quality and experience the prices are reasonable. We particularly enjoyed the seafood. Definitely worth a visit, we were really happy that we had the chance to try this place. They are cash only so be prepared!

My dad has been coming to Korcula every summer for over 20 years and he took me here today, saying that this is the best restaurant on the island. I completely agree: the quality of the food is amazing, the fish and seafood were fresh and tasty, prepared in a simple yet sophisticated way with high quality ingredients that enhance the natural taste. Everything was delicious, they harvest their veggies, olive oil and herbs. You can tell that Miss Maritza cooks with love and respect for the quality of the ingredients and the taste of the food. The ambience and service are also great, a beautiful garden full of plants and a nice atmosphere. Really grateful for this experience, highly recommended!

🥩: Exquisite. Menu is quite unique in a manner where they offer around 3 meals (3 starters, 3 main dishes, 5 deserts) for which they have freshest ingredients. Every little bit that we tasted was superb. The best tuna steak I've tried yet. They are taking special care for each and every dish, which can really be experienced in the flavours.
🍸: Local wines, special moonshine, water is brought in a jug (thank you so much for this).
👨‍🍳: One of the greatest services one could get. The owner lady was impressively kind and welcoming, explained everything to us. From the tiny details to bad things they are struggling with.
🏡: Ambience is excellent, enchanting even. It is actually located in a garden of all sorts of plants for dishes. For example, mint, spinach, olive trees, etc... The tables are few between the plants.
💰: Expensive. But if you take in the consideration all the care they provided, I'd say it is completely fair.
🥲 Bad things: can't pay with card. Literally nothing else, everything is almost perfect.
👍👎: This is not just a restaurant, this is a whole experience. Culinary masterpiece combined with lovely nature ambience and kind, down to earth master chef. One must come here, definitely recommend.

A beautiful, family-run restaurant with outdoor seating sheltered by ancient olive trees in their garden. The food was amazing and service was outstanding.
Must-do if you are in Lumbarda.

Where to begin, there are so many wonderful things to mention.

First off the location. It's set in a quaint little garden you reach by walking through a small narrow tree and plant pebbled path. It feels like you're going someplace you're not supposed to. Then it opens up to a quaint garden with edible plants all around you and nice little tables throughout. Wonderful ambiance to say the least.

Once seated the waitstaff is extremely helpful, nice, and well versed in more than a few languages to help explain the upcoming dishes. You have a welcoming feeling of family running the restaurant when you're here but at the same time you are in a very nice restaurant.

The food was delicious. The first plate was a seafood selection of shrimp, olive oil, eggplant with cheese, and a fish caviar that was delicious and all local. The next course was an amberjack fish which was the best I've ever tasted along with a zucchini that was incredibly fresh and incredibly delicious. The last course I had was a pear sautéed in red wine and some gelato. I didn't expect much from a pear dessert but again I was completely blown away. It was Delicious!! Perfectly balanced with the Gelato.

I almost don't want to write this review because I want to keep this place as a secret as it's not very big and reservations are hard to get. If you do make it here you will not be disappointed.

Not a place for those who are looking for a cheap eat. It’s quite pricy here BUT it's totally worth it if you appreciate:

Don't follow Google maps it misguides you. When you are on the main road from Lumbarda towards Korčula then there is a tiny sign on the right - that's where the entrance is - hidden right underneath some olive trees. 😇

Side note: they do have some anti-mosqito plugs underneath the tables but that's not really stopping them. Make sure to bring some repellant to have an undisturbed and pleasurable time without being eaten by these bugs.

Top quality ingredients. skillful chef. Mixed seafood in parchment is an absolute delight. Order side of bread with it and a glass of Plavac

Nice and familiar ambient.
Carpacio fish (starter) was really good served with great lemon you can eat entier. Main dishes were good. Homemade pasta with seafood and fish named Gof matched wilth delicius zucchini.
Chocolate cake for dessert pretty good. Pears in red wine particular and sweet but tasty.
Great white vine!
All was super fresh and cooked by owners. Good job!

One of the best restaurants we've been to in Croatia. Loved the fact that they have daily special dishes. Amberjack fillet was very tasty. The seafood pasta was very good too. The wine was great and the staff professional, polite and friendly.

Wish one could book a table online as it was too expensive to call a local number by phone.

Next-level local culinary experience. Restaurant is family owned, with a menu that changes every day based on the produce available at the time. They put a lot of care into the experience - from the atmosphere to the organization of the restaurant, from the expertise of the staff, to the quality of the ingredients and the way of preparation. Highly recommended, but be prepared to open your wallet.

The service was quick, kind and very professional. The food was very unique and absolutely delicious - the three dishes we took were some of the best I have ever tasted, and so were the desserts!
It is a family business and so it feels - authentic and warm.

Amazing food! We stayed in Lumbarda for 8 nights and ate here 3 times. Was hands down the best restaurant on the island. Dario was awesome, seasonal ingredients and fantastic service. Would highly recommend.

Outstanding food. Definitely one of the best desserts I've ever had. Carob brownie paired with orange jam and pears poached in wine, served with homemade vanilla ice cream in a waffle cone. DIVINE!
The place is in huge demand in July and August so book well in advance. (10+ days). Communication with the restaurant was kind and on point.
Would definitely go again.

A wonderful family owned restaurant. The food is perfect, simple and very tasty, as is the service. The son of the owner who prepares the food is the waiter who beautifully presents the menu that is served that day. In my opinion, the best restaurant on Korcula.

A very very nice experience IF you like real food (not fries, hamburger, pizza).
We had the todays special of everything.
Fried shrimps (just add salt and they are perfect), fried tuna (rare) was very good but my good the pasta! Delicious! A package with pasta and seafood in a creamy sause.
Ended with a choclate cake with home made jam.
We were not able to leave without small gift like marmelade and homemade lemonade.
Highly recommended!
