Kayaking on the river was the perfect way to spend the morning. Beautiful scenery, great tour guide, good exercise....and lots of fun.

Amazing green river below Velebit mountain. Several years ago I was here on rafting and that was very nice experience. This time we have explored beautiful canyon in the sunrise I can recommend and hope that pictures will show at least part of the beauty we have enjoyed. I will be coming back for sure to try canoeing and to explore this wonderful place more as well.

For me it is one if the most amazing places on planet. Take a boat and get to the waterfalls. You can swim there or jump from waterfall. Water is clean an still not so many tourists. Great place.

Beautiful canyon. I went during sunset. The road I agree is a little bumpy, I parked closer to the main road, it is an easy 10 minute walk to the canyon but judge for yourself base on the type of vehicle you have.

The most amazing experience on the river. Crystal-clear water and Winnetou views. Amazing!

Spectacular canyon, best to view from above from Old Winnetou site and then go with boat or SUP. Start from Maslenica and enter the canyon after 2-3 km over the sea. Or start the long way from Obrovac down the river. I had the wind against me all the time, though that way.

Very clean river . Few possibilities to stop with a camper and even overnight for free without getting in trouble - if you nice to the locals:)

Very colorful canyon in the middle of the karst. A few camping sites around, some with and some without shade. Keep that in mind when choosing...

one of the cleanest rivers in the region. beautiful landscape and surroundings.

Absolutely beautiful river with its lovely waterfalls and rich nature. One of the last places I know of where on can swim up to the waterfall, and for free, too. The water is wonderfully cooling in the hot Croatian summer, there are jumping ropes to swing into the river.

Heaven on earth. The purest of nature there is. You can freely drink water directly out of the river (no aditives, no preservatives, no artificial or any other colors 🙂 ).
If you are a nature-lover this place you'll never forget.

Great river to see, amazing for rafting and there are a lot of calm parts where you can swim if you are brave. If you are in the area check it out ot has a nice source (vrelo). What can I say, it is a good old river with plenty of potential and beauty. Perfect for exciting sports and activities?!!!
