I would like to give 5 stars. Tasting menu and wine pairings were great. Atmosphere is 4/5 as I felt cigarette smoke sometimes.

We visited as a family with the intention to try the 5 courses menu. The menu was a mix between traditional local cuisine, modern elements, and a personal touch by the chef. It was well put together with attention to the details and high quality ingredients. The service was good, friendly, and professional. The prices are fair. Nothing on the menu is overpriced. I'll be visiting again.

Visited few moths later quality was still the same. The service has improved. The atmosphere has improved as well - we had live piano music.
The prices have changed, compared to other countries, and even to other restaurants in town, Il Ponte is still surprisingly inexpensive. One must not forget following facts: educated waiters, regional and organic products, wild caught fish, modern and still authentic culinary creations, and a Michelin Start. The beef tartar was heavenly, the lobster with homemade pasta was fantastic. Everything else was great.

Excellent example how you can present Croatian food in a different style. And keep it perfect!
I would recommend it to everyone who wants to try local tastes presented in a new way.
Also, do not be afraid, it is almost fine dining, but price performance (and portions size) is more on a larger side.
Their steak Tartar is signature dish and I can fully recommend it. Combine fish dishes with it and you will get Croatia in a nutshell within one meal.
Nice cocktails, but I was pleasantly surprised when asked for white wine, they recommend Bogdanusha, local sort which goes perfect with a fish. Not lot of places has it.
Treat yourself with this experience, as it is one.
Also, as mentioned price performance is very good.

The food here is excellent! Highly recommend the steak, beef tartare and pumpkin soup. Also an excellent wine selection. Service is very good maybe slightly understaffed for how busy they are. But a can't miss dining experience in Trogir. Highly recommend.

Best restaurant in Trogir. We were lucky to be here when they had a special night with the top5 participators from Master Chef Croatia. They had a exclusive menu with wine pairing created by 4 of the chefs from Master Chef. The dishes were very creative, well plated and tasted amazing. Service through the evening was perfect and the wines were only Croatian and great!

Although the restaurant is not located in an ideal place, if you want an enchanting view, it also has advantages: you can park in front of the door. It turned out to be a winning combination for us because, right after dessert, a storm started. Also (if you have time) the old core of Trogir and the promenade by the sea is nearby.
The interior is thoughtfully designed, a well-integrated extension of the space - the impression of the whole. The glass walls are also very well designed, i.e. a possible problem of a large amount of sunlight. The careful decoration of the tables is also visible.
The menu is not large, but there is something for all desires and preferences. We chose two meat and one fish dish. While we were waiting, we received olives, grisina and olive oil in cute ceramic containers similar to a tin can. Simply put, the food (despite the complex combination of flavors and textures) was flawless. I was impressed that (which is somewhat customary with this type of food) the quantity was so great that I was really full. I didn't even want to take the dessert (which they say was perfect) in order to keep the flavor of my enriched fish as long as possible.
We were served by a young but educated waiter. Although we didn't announce it when booking, we came with a child, he quickly found a seat, utensils....Explained the dishes, asked if we needed anything....present, available but unobtrusive.
Unfortunately, I didn't take pictures of the food because we couldn't resist tasting it. It's a pity, because the arrangement of the food was up to par.

Great service with friendly Ivan, food technically cooked to perfection, balanced cocktails very good value for money. The only thing to change and non related to the restaurant is luxury rooms sales tactics.

Wonderful discovery during our stay in Trogir. Excellent food and wine. The service was professional and very nice. Easy and big parking ( for free when you eat at the restaurant)

We stumbled upon this restaurant completely by chance - two fatigued, certainly underdressed, slightly cranky & hungry tourists looking for a place to sit and enjoy some good cuisine. Although we would appreciate if the chairs could accommodate our center European behinds a bit better (they are quite narrow) we were overall quite pleasantly surprised. Food was delicious, service the best I encountered in a long while and the price was slightly lower than usual for this type of restaurant. Also I was quite afraid that the servings would be tiny - after seeing photos online, however they are quite big - we were able to finish our food but we were full! Overall 💯 recommend.

Fish are fresh and are caught daily. Fish fillet is simply amazing, melts in one's mouth. Wine is recommended in mind with the dish served.
The price tag is hefty, however, because it's a Michelin recommended restaurant.
Due to my experience with stared restaurants, I was worried that I wouldn't be able to get in, but fortunately that was not the case.

Il Ponte offers a wonderful fusion of tradition, taste, and creativity that creates an unforgettable dining experience.

Marvelous restaurant in the most surprising location. While the many tourist trap restaurants along the Riva in Trogir are luring the tourists in you'll find here on this parking lot the best restaurant in this very town. Creative yet savory dishes and attentive service and a convincing if not even romantic ambience. Very well done and presumably it is even best this crew doesn't sit in the hustle and bustle of the old town as then - with masses of guests - the quality of all components would inevitably drop. So let's keep this place here a good secret and let's not write raving reviews about it. ;)

A very different restaurant experience compared to other dinner places around Trogir! It's a lovely atmosphere and the staff is very friendly :) The food was amazing and the price was quite justified 👌🏼 Would really recommend if you'd like a special dinner experience in when in Trogir 🤝

Possibly best restaurant in Split region we visited during last two years. All dishes we tried deserves the very best marks.

From the first step we made to the last tastisng of the seven course chef degustation menu the only word that comes in mind is ...what sn experience!
Don't expect...just enjoy!

I tasted one of the best rib eye steaks in my life. Besides that the appetizers were very good. a very good local Croatian wine as well. I do highly recommend this restaurant. Excellent price-quality ratio. Thank you for having us!
