San Marino Camping Resort Restaurant

I've went to this restaurant every time I've been here and it never dissapointed. The location is conveniently close to the camp and the beach, food is always delicious and there's something for everyone, staff is very friendly. Amazing restaurant always satisfies ❤

Wir sind begeistert von der Herzlichkeit und dem guten Essen. Jožko und Matej waren die Servicekräfte unseres Vertrauens, die sogar Sonderwünsche zum Hochzeitstag unbürokratisch umgesetzt haben. Nicht zuvergessen, die Mannschaft hinter den Kulissen. Der Koch hat exzellente Gerichte gezaubert. Wir kommen gerne wieder

Sauber und ordentlich. Große Auswahl an verschiedenen Lebensmittel. Der preis von 10 Euro pro erwachsene und 5 Euro pro Kind ist sehr angemessen (es ist deutlich teurer in einem Geschäft einzukaufen).

Also ich verstehe manche Bewertungen nicht. Waren heute da Essen. Es war super lecker. Hatte Grillplatte und meine Frau Tunfischsteak. War alles perfekt. Personal super freundlich. Werden da wieder hingehen.
Auch zu Kindern besteht ein klasse Verständnis. Sehr einfühlsam.
Ein Besuch lohnt sich auf jedenfall.
P.S. Viele kommen auch da hin und bestellen zum mitnehmen.

Wir sind eine 7 Köpfige Familie und wurden jeden Tag sehr gut bedient.
Essen kann man hier gut.

Bestes Service, Essen hat auch sehr gut geschmeckt. Wir können das Restaurant sehr gerne empfehlen.

Just a recap of our experience during our stay at San Marino Camping Resort. I'm aware that this review is just one of many, but this is how we experienced or stay, and yes, it is much more expensive than our last stay, but this was already known to us, so I am not going to comment on this topic.
Upon arrival, it was very late in the evening (already dark), due to a lot of traffic jams, the woman at the reception was not very friendly, didn't say a lot and frankly, just passed me the keycards (I was in and out within a few minutes) After 10 minutes searching, we finally found our mobilehome. To my surprise, the receptionist didnt gave us the wifi password and worse, they "forgot" to check the airco prior to our arroval (it didn't work). As we arrived very late in the evening, we had to sleep without a functioning airco the first (ver hot) night. After telling the reception about the malfunctioning airco the next morning, they fixed it later that afternoon. To be fair, the Mobilehome in which we stayed was/is very nice and comfortable (although we had a lot of annoying and very small mosquitoes on the porch). The camping complex is very well taken care off. Clean walking lanes/streets and nicely landscaped with plants, nice clean beach and a few bars & restaurants (we dined a few times in the same place, but the food was never consistant (not even close)). Also they do not like it when you you do not pay cash (something to do with tip money or....). We even got "scammed" with a €10 higher bill cause we paid with our card (nice one restaurant Bonaca). Compliments though to the crew of Caucho! They were very friendly and helpfull! To be honest, we have never experienced such grumpy staff members during any vacation. Grumpy ladies at the reception, fortunately the last day I had the privilage to pay our stay to a very friendly lady, so not all hope is lost ;-), grumpy crew at the gate, at the bakery, at the Konzum supermarket, grumpy at the restaurants we visited (except Caucho and Paradiso beach bar). Ow, before I forget, I have to compliment the cleaning ladies as well, very friendly and hard working! Great advantages for a great holiday are the beaches and the sea. Furthermore a nice vacation is something you are largely responsible for yourself. So, all in all, we had a great time... we even would consider coming back... if it wasn't for all those grumpy people (staff, restaurant crews, shop owners, etc).
Having written all of this, in the future we will definitely book with Valamar again, but never again on Rab and.......hopefully we will then meet more friendly personal.
