Ranch Terra

We visited the ranch yesterday and today and enjoyed every moment of it. Great experience and recommendation even for someone who is beginner like me.
Hosts were kind and full of knowledge, so ride was pure pleasure.
Must visit!

Today was a wonderfull day for riding. We are begginers but from the first moment felt safe and trained to ride by ourselves. Very kind host Marin was a patient and details in giving us all necessary instructions.
Definitely an experience we would like to repeat.

Great way to spent the afternoon! Spent 2 hours horse riding in beautiful nature with stunning views. Marin, our tour guide was great and whole experience was unforgetable. If you are going to Plitvice lakes be sure to stop at this ranch.

We had a brilliant two hour ride full of fun and adventure, our horses were super well behaved and our guide Dina really knew the best spots to go, would definitely recommend Ranch Terra for experienced or beginner riders, they cater for all!

It was an awesome experience! We did the deer vally tour (5 hours) and it was very beautiful. We went trough the woods and open fields. We are experienced and so we also did trot and gallop. We also got a tour in the deer vally and it was very beautiful there and at the end of the deer vally tour we got some snacks and drinks. After that we walked, trotted and galloped back. The guide was very nice and was easy to talk to. It was worth the money!!

I had an incredible time at the Ranch Terra! Riding Max for two hours was a delightful experience, filled with fun all along the way. The staff was exceptionally helpful, nice, and friendly, adding to the overall enjoyment. I would highly recommend this place for an amazing time and a fantastic horse riding experience!

Highly recommend Ranch Terra. As there was no group for experienced riders on the day I was in the area, they have the option for a private ride 1 person and the guide. Perfect terrain for riding through the woods and on fields, tracks and grass tracks through the bracken on the hills. Lovely views on the ride looking across to the mountains. I had a 2hour ride with a good mix of trot canter and gallops as well as walking. The ponies were sweet. Mine was an 8yr old Haflinger mare who was willing and easy to ride.. though her short legs couldn't keep up with Marin's horse no matter how fast they went! 😀.🐎 A great fun ride while visiting the Plitvice lakes on holiday. They also cater for beginners and people who haven't ridden... the other ride on the day I went was a group of beginners.

My 5 year old absolutely loved her first trail ride. They are super accommodating with kids, I really liked that they walked with the kids along the whole route so they could have a real riding experience. Beautiful country, highly recommend if you visiting this area with kids to do this.

Wonderful experience. We took a 1-hour tour because we are beginners, the host tried his best to explain everything to us and kindly answered all our questions. Beautiful trail and nature and the horses are very calm and tame. All recommendations.

Had the best ride with Ranch Terra! Went on a 2 hour ride through the beautiful fields. I can highly recommend also for experienced riders they adjust the ride to your experience level. The horses and dogs were very sweet!

This is my third visit to Ranch Terra and I cannot find words to describe how overwhelmed I am with the experience. Trails are beautiful, horses calm and experienced, guides more than kind. I plan to return again and again! Suitable both for beginners and advanced riders.

Really nice ranch, the horses are really good looking and they are really fair to them. Also good for beginners.

The ranch and the people there are very friendly and welcoming. The double room is super sweet with a small balcony and view to the paddock. Also I had a really beautiful horse trip, the horses are lovely and well-behaved. They offer different tours. We really liked the short stay and can recommend it. Just the water didn't work for some hours but it was just because of the drought. There was a little problem before with over booking, so that we could only stay for one night and need to find another room but the owner tried to help us with it.

By the way: I would recommend self made breakfast because the restaurant on the other side offered to us expired food.

It was beautiful, the horses were peaceful and great. The ride was awsome and scenic. The owners were wonderful!

My husband and I had a great time at the ranch! All the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Beautiful scenery on our two hour ride and got to watch their adorable dog run around with us! Very well kept and cute ranch, we'd definitely go back!

I had an amazing private riding tour with Dina. The horses were very well behaved and were easy to ride even after a longer break from riding :) The communication was great as well and I got all the info I needed even though I booked the tour only a day in advacne. All in all it was a lovely experience, thank you ❤

Thank you for this absolutely amazing experience! We booked a one hour riding trip during our vacation near the lakes as our older daughter loves horsback riding. Actually our smaller daughter likes horses a lot too, but she has a lot of respect of horses and riding. We booked the trip for the four of us and Marin did such an excellent job - he convinced our smaller daughther to try and she was so happy in the end. We all were! Thank you for that experience! Apart from that the horses were so nice and calm - the stable very clean. 100% Percent recommondation. We will come back :-)!

Awesome! We (one rider, one beginner) did a 2h tour this morning. The duration of 2h was a super recommendation from Dina (our riding guide) - long enough to ride super nice trails past cornfields and through forests and ferns and also suitable for beginners. We spotted wild boar tracks in the mud and also saw an eagle. We were accompanied by Dina's super curious playful dogs that ran through corn fields - absolutely no problem for the super calm horses! We were also allowed to trot and gallop! Dina took photos and videos at our request. What an experience and super memories! Thank you so much for that! 30€ per 1h per person is a very reasonable price.

Our first ride, and I'm already in love with horseriding for the rest of my life!
