Fantastic home made food. Excellent service and prices

Great, hidden gem for eating out without big crowds while on vacation. There are farm animals freely roaming the estate, providing a unique and calm atmosphere. The food's great each time and the service is even better - especially waitress Mare (Marija)! :) she's lovely, very professional (speaks several foreign languages, including English, German and Italian) and always in a good mood. We look forward to seeing her each time and definitely recommend this restaurant. Hvala Vam i svaka cast :)

We didn’t make a reservation, but there was one(!) table free to take a meal on a weekday, off season.
We had a very warm welcome.

Tip: make a reservation although it’s not the holiday season, even on a day during the week.

Once there the atmosphere is superb and the service is phenomenal. The lady in the house is very, very customer friendly and in for jokes. We had a very good time.

The meals are made fresh and made of regional products. They are plain and simple, but delicious. The price-quality is very good.

Need an off place, away from the crowd… this is the place to be. Although it looks very romantic (it is), you can go there with the whole family. There is entertainment from some little pigs and dogs. Fantastic!

Pasta‘s, Cevapcici, Steaks, this restaurant hold by Boris Orlic, deserves an Michelin Star.
Pasta…with Truffles, fanatic Stove with home made pasta was a dream. Have got there Cevapcici, the best in my life until now and I have went trough all ex YU. The Steak: Fiorentina dry aged, soft and juicy. Ambiente is perfect we was sitting in the near of the open fire. Stuff with a smile and always friendly.
Absolute recommendation, we will be back

We visited this restaurant four times during our two-week stay at a nearby villa. The food is all fabulous, great service, beautiful outdoor area under the trees. Highly recommend!

The food was amazing! Traditional, home made pasta and meat. Real authentic feeling!

We ate here yesterday evening, and we came back today. That already tells you something. It's January, it's cold, so we wanted something hot that you eat with a spoon :)
The beef soup and venison stew with homemade gnocchi were excellent! Their mixed salad is fresh and crispy.

Today I chose homemade FUŽI, the local Istrian specialty similar to macaroni, but thinner, and always handmade. The veal stew with it was tasty.

And then we tried a pumpkin pairfait. The friendly waitress made it today for the first time. Well, we think it should end up on the menu.
To round it all, we got a local delicacy, a blueberry digestif on the house.

Amazing Konoba immersed in the silent Istrian country. They serve delicious homemade cold cuts and cheeses, plus a wide array of, again homemade, pasta dishes and grilled meat.
Portions are VERY abundant, so carefully evaluate your "capacity" before ordering.
Only cash is accepted, both € and HRK.
