Worth every step! There were plenty of goats but not another person in site. After visiting tons of ruins throughout the Balkans on this trip this was a favorite of ours. The view truly can’t be beat.
You will need to wear proper shoes, this is a rocky climb. Not too bad for anyone used to an off trail or unmaintained trail hike.

Quite strenuous uphill walk. Not for everyone, must wear trainers or similar. 35 minutes plus from the quayside. Stay on path that is signposted until steep steps, left turn sign at top of steps near tiny church.
Great views of Lopud.

It is a nice, good walk up to this fortress. But it is definitly worth it. You slmost got a perfect 360 degree view of Lopud Island from this height. From this viewpoint you will also be able to see the entire bay that is the settlement of Lopud. Perfect destination for a nice hike. Takes roughly 25-40minutes. 467 steps up I believe it was. 😀

Few people go up to this interesting little fortress, I was there on my own. The climb up many steps is a bit tough in the hot weather but only takes about 20-30minutes. It is worth the effort for the views. There is enough left of the structure to imagine how it would have looked but I kind of liked how the centre of the structure is slowly becoming an olive grove.

The hike was hard in the heat but well worth the trek! Stunning views and some friendly goats there to greet us at the top

The walk up looked like it would take ages however it only took around 30 minutes. We were walking in October so the heat wasn't too bad. Stunning views of the surrounding islands and village

Lovely afternoon walk (25 mins) the trail is easy to follow however there are some difficult parts with large steps and narrow pathways. Stopped off and viewed all the churches along the route aswell. The views are stunning. Sadly no goats for us.

Amazing views, worth the climb. But it’s a steep climb, so just a heads up. Wear proper shoes if you can
