Villa Jezero

Me and my husband been 5 times to Mljet, 3 times we stayed at villa Jezero. This is the best place to experience what the National park has to offer. Situated in a pine tree forest and just few meters from the water you can see all the wild life (owls, kingfishers, mongoose ) and a perfect place for star gazing away from the artificial lights. Very generous balconies and not overlooked. The hosts are very hospitable. We were self catering and sometimes having a meal cooked for us at the villa, which was fantastic with fresh fish and vegetables cooked on the open fire. Water pressure in the shower was good considering the difficulty delivering water in a National Park. We want to say thank you to Toni and his family and hope we will be staying there again!!!

Amazing place for these who love nature in all her aspects and quiet. It's perfect for a weekend or to spend a week to chill out and enjoy the beauty of the Small and Big Lake within National Park of Mljet.
The hosts are very nice and helpful, and can even offer a very tasty dinner (with extra but very reasonable charge).
The apartments we were accommodated were comfortable and had basic stuff you need. Both with terraces and sun beds.
Something I would recommend: get a good products or tricks for wasps (as already said, pure nature ;) ).

Villa Jezero is probably the most wonderful place on Mljet. The house is situated in a beautiful areal right next to the lake in the middle of the National Park. So it's perfect for enjoying nature, going for hikes and cycle Tours in the park! As it was off season, it was very quiet - exactly what we were looking for. Antun and his family are incredibly nice and hospitable. We could always ask for anything we needed and were invited to join for dinner - this was most likely the freshest flame-grilled fish we've eher had, directly from the lake. Antun organised everything for us, bike rental, transport to/from the ferry etc.. We enjoyed our stay there a lot and will hopefully return!

Das erste Mal wollten wir die Insel Mljet besuchen und haben uns vorab eine etwas abgelegene Unterkunft gesucht und die "Villa Jezero" gefunden. Für diese haben wir uns auch entschieden. Der schriftliche Kontakt verlief super und erwartungsvoll machten wir uns auf den Weg. Wir waren dann doch überrascht über die Lage, denn wir waren mitten im Nationalpark.

Man hatte zwar an unsere Ankunft versehentlich nicht gedacht, aber es wurde sofort alles getan damit wir unser Apartment beziehen konnten und nicht lange warten mussten.

Von Anfang an fühlten wir uns gut aufgehoben und trotz Sprachproblemen kamen wir mit Händen, Füßen & diversen Fremdsprachenfetzen super miteinander aus. Die ganze Familie war sehr herzlich, wir hätten keinen schöneren Ort uns aussuchen können. Wir waren zwar die einzigen Gäste, aber das Grundstück ist so weitläufig das man sicher auch seine Ruhe haben kann, wenn die Unterkunft ausgebucht ist.

Gleich nach der Ankunft wurden uns 2 Fahrräder bereit gestellt, welche wir auch genutzt haben. Es wurden auch Tips für Ausflüge gegeben, welche für uns sehr hilfreich waren.

Das Besondere ist hier wirklich die Lage. Von 20 bis 8 Uhr ist der Nationalpark geschlossen und es herrscht absolute Ruhe, so das man die Tiere im Wald hört und sonst nix. Was für ein Traum.

An einem Abend durften wir auch mit dem Vermieter zusammen sitzen und unser Abendessen wurde von ihm für uns auf dem Grill zubereitet.

Das Apartment selbst war super. Es gab zwar keinen Fernseher, aber der hat absolut nicht gefehlt. Allerdings benötigt das Apartment mal wieder eine kleine Renovierung. Ein paar kleine Schönheitsfehler sind vorhanden, welche aber keineswegs das Urlaubsfeeling trüben. Ich gehe davon aus das genau diese Arbeiten jetzt nach der Saison in Angriff genommen werden.

Es war eine traumhafte Woche bei einer tollen Familie und es ist sicher, wir kommen wieder.

Das war der schönste Urlaub seit langem.
Ein sehr schöner Ort und die Familie hat uns liebevoll aufgenommen.
Alle sind sehr entspannt aber trotzdem aufmerksam.
Wir haben uns perfekt erholt auf dieser traumhaften Insel und werden bestimmt wiederkommen!

Savršeno mjesto za bijeg od svakodnevnog života. Ne postoji bolje mjesto za opuštanje je, istraživanje i uživanje u Nacionalnom Parku Mljet. Domaćini su super ljudi, uvijek na raspolaganju i spremni pomoći a bilo bi šteta ne pohvaliti odabir glazbe uz večeru. Pripremaju super hranu, sve se fino dogovori unaprijed sa njima. Preporuka svim ljubiteljima prirode i mira.

Predivni apartmani na bajkovitoj poziciji, najboljoj na otoku Murteru, a možda i puno puno šire. Domaćini otvorenog uma i srca. Svaka preporuka.

Izgleda prekrasno, mirno, pravo mjesto za odmor,jedino mjesto na Mljetu koje bi zeljela posjetiti ponovo
