Braenović restaurant

Been going here for 4 years now and will continue to indefinitely. My favorite spot on all of peljesac. The food is great and the people are kind. Don’t leave without trying their house Dingač wine. It’s a beautiful place to sit back with family and friends, enjoy a delicious meal, and maybe even see a few dolphins in the sea.

An extraordinary position under the pines and overlooking the sea. Kind, friendly staff, ready to help with advice. The food (home-style octopus and black risotto) is the best thing we've eaten in Croatian restaurants in recent years. The house wine (0.75) by Rose Braenović was perfectly cold, drinkable and a great match with the food. The price for all is 50 euros, which is extremely affordable for lunch for two. We will definitely come back next time.

Beautiful view on the sea, friendly staff and fantastic food. Everything was very good - octopus with potatoes, fried squids, fresh fish, mussels and meat čevapi. For sure worth to visit.

We came by bike, and they offered and transported whole group, and our bikes in their truck with no charge!!! It is worth to come just to visit them them! Cheers!!!

Agritourism place, yes we can say that, for last two weeks it was our place, we love it😍. This one of two restaurants in this place and we can say that is the best. Everything what they serving is fresh and good quality. The carte is short, but got everything you have to try when you are there, the specialite de la maison is octopus with potatoes in sauce😉and is delightful. It's family business so you can easily talk with owners and they are really involved in what is going on in restaurant. Also serwis is on very good level, I thing that people who are working there doing it with heart😉and for end is viev, its really good one especially in sunset👍I advise this place, for 2 weeks it was almost our home and we have very good memories connected with this place. I hope to be there in next year😉

It is a family own restaurant in the shadow of the alpine pine trees with nice view over Mljet on the other side of the Channel. We ate black risotto and octopus goulash and that was simply amazing. They served their own wine (red, white, rosé). Moderate prices.
After the meal you can go down to the small pebble beach to relax and chill and have a swim.

Very good food. I can recommend fried squid, black risotto and roasted meat over the ashes (which must be ordered day before visiting of restaurant). Really nice view and not many people makes this place special.

Beautiful place with yummy domestic food and kind service. Hope so to come back next year to try their famous octopus :)

Pure perfection! Delicious black risotto and home speciality octopusy with potatoes cooked in Dingač wine. Amazing view, super hosts, can’t wait to come back!

We came here after reading lots of good reviews. And it was well worth it. The black risotto frutti di mare was delicious so was the wine. Thanks also to the attentive staff who looked after my girlfriend on her birthday with particular care.

This is my go-to place for the summer. The fish are spectacular, both in the wide array of “this is what we caught this morning” and how it is made.
The owners and all staff are the best and kindest! The view and the setting makes this the place you want to sit and drive to get to.
The black risotto and the octopus are definitley addicitive and once you try them the taste will remain etched in your brain forever.

Bonus tip: one of the most beautiful little coves/ beaches is right below the restaurant.

Wondeful outdoor authentic Croatian restaurant under the pine trees with a view to the sea, in the middle of a wine producting area. The food was perfect, the wine also. The waiters were friendly, we had dinners two times here.

Great restaurant! 5 stars definitely. Prices are high, but reasonable, because the quality and products are fresh. Calmari and ostopus were soft and flavorful, and risotto with vegetables was very creamy and full of veggies inside (carrot, zuccini and bell pepper). You will have to spend a lot of money, if you want to taste real, authentic dalmatian cuisine overall in Croatia.
