Namaste Indian Restaurant

Set on the side of the river this is a beautiful restaurant with authentic and different dishes to what you would find in an Indian restaurant in the UK.
The spinach soup was just what was needed due to it being -6°C outside! Full of flavour with little pieces of garlic in it, very tasty!
Main dishes came with rice so ordered the mixed breads to go with it. Lots of flavour, selection and really would've fed up to 6 people, we admitted defeat after demolishing more than half of it between 2 of us.
Service was excellent, non-intrusive, but very friendly.
Would highly recommend a visit here.
1 star taken off for atmosphere but then again we did visit late and they were due to close - probably much better earlier on in the evening when it's more lively, but don't let that put you off.

Went with my wife who used to stop here regurarly when she lived in Ljubljana. They serve a grilled cheese she loves and their mango lassie is also divine. I’m more for the simpler dishes like chicken curry, but it is great with some butter naan and the mango lassie.

The waitress is an angel !! Kind, helpful, polite, and funny. As for the food, everything was delicious, and more than enough. It was spicy, flavorful, and on point. Great Indian restaurant in Ljubjana

Ate here two times in five days, each time without a reservation. We were seated promptly, though we arrived on the early side of the evening. The restaurant was full by 7pm. The menu had all the classic dishes you would expect, as well as some less common dishes. All of them were very flavorful, well spiced, and prepared with care. Plenty of options for vegetarians and vegans, too.

Amazing Indian food with good portions and reasonable prices. The waiters are attentive and were quick to find us a table despite us not having a reservation. Would definitely recommend if looking for good Indian cuisine in Ljubljana, especially considering the central location of the restaurant.

Beautiful setting right on the river front and amazing food. We have the Chicken Kolhapuri and Kadhai Lamb with a Paratha and a Naan. I eat a lot of curry, and this was the only restaurant that's brought back true flavour memories of my time in India 13 years ago.
The spicing was exceptional with a huge depth of flavour, which caused fireworks in your mouth. They balanced that with a lovely warm heat that gave the required tingle without destroying the flavour.
We loved it so much that we went back for lunch the next day and shared a Kadhai Gobi and a salad.
The only bad thing I have to say about this restaurant is that it won't fit in my pocket and come home with me!

it was my first time having indian food, and i love it, but bare in mind i have nothing to compare to. the server was very helpful with the dishes. the non-vegetarian platter i wouldn't get though because it was overpriced for what you get.

Ambiance is good and food is really tasty.
We tried Vegetable Korma, it’s delicious 😋 with rotis and Nan. Later tried with Vegetable biriyani it was so tasty and yummy 😋 served with raitha.
Service was good and friendly staff.
If you looking for Indian food in Ljubljana do visit the place. Highly recommend.

We had lunch here and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of food and service. Everything we tried was really good and staff was really efficient and attentive so if you like Indian food I can really recommend this restaurant.

Great Indian food, one of the best in Ljubljana. Always delicious! Highly recommended! Recently it has became more expensive, as many other restaurants in LJ but portions are big and quality of food is great. Staff is always nice too.

Very good food, butter chicken and chicken korma 10/10, the bathrooms are very nice (they have free hand cream) and the soap smells decent. The service is a little strange

Food taste was perfect like eating in India.
It was perfect spiced as we expected.
We had chicken kolhapuri which is super spicy dish with chicken and vegetables gravy. We loved it.
Its very rare to find so many Indian dishe options at one place in Europe.
Always mention how much spicy you want before ordering and take help of staff to understand dish.
Staff is wonderful.
Place is clean and reasonable rates for portion and wonderful taste.
Must visit for Indian food lovers

They have an amazing Dal Makhni and Chicken Tikka masala with great indian breads like Tandoori roti, garlic naan and roti, Amazing flavours which takes you back to India. They also provide onion, green chillies and lemon as sides on request. They even have pan supari and saunf+ sugar to end your meal with! Highly recommended.

I tried this place, for an authentic chicken tikka masala.
The food is very good, the taste was the right one, i might have liked not to feel the grilled chicken in the tikka masala, but it was good.
The place is very nice, Indian style. Same as the smell hahaha.
Service was quick, in 15 min we got the order. The stuff also was nice.
We were allowed with the dog inside and that was even better.
Recommend this for a Indian dinner.

Authentic Indian experience. Chicken curry and chicken tandoori were delicious, soft and tasty. The waiters will help you with their suggestions. Prices were also modest, highly recommended! Namaste

Absolutely super tasty food in very reasonable price. Up to 10 euro for the menu of the day.

Excellent indian tastes, the food was perfect, prices were normal, the whole ambiance smelled nice like indian spices. Also the service was great and next time I am coming for that mango lassi. No complaints here. :)
