Konoba Galija

Ate at Galija twice on our 3-day stay in Krk (end of may). It is located in an alley leading to monastery, so it’s somewhat hidden away from more touristy area. From outside it doesn’t look spacious, but once you enter you see a big dinning area split in several rooms. We ate pizzas and seafood dishes. All were very tasty, portions big and prices reasonable. Staff was friendly and attentive. Place is great for big groups as well.

This is for sure one of the best restaurants in Krk. I went there more than 10 times in my life and every time was great. Prices are same or even lower then what prices are on the coast but quality is much higher. Last thing I ate was pasta (special Krk pasta) with truffles and it is must.
Service is kind but also guys have great sense of humor and they make you feel welcome from the first minute you arrive in thw restaurant till last moment when you leave the restaurant. Thx Karlo and the others. See You again

Very good find! Great food, big portions. I had šurlice with beef, the meat was deliciously cooked and tender. My friends had a fish platter, very fresh and deli. The place is spacious but always full. They didn’t take reservations when we asked. Our waiter was extremely pleasant and helpful. We’ll probably return to try something else from the menu.

Great food and service. Unique climate inside. One drawback is the lack of a real garden one can sit in. There is a garden corner instead you can just admire.

Food is definitely best in Krk. The restaurant looks amazing, service is pretty good, waiters are polite.. I would definitely recommend fish dishes to try.

Sitting at the corner in a small alley, when walking in, opens into quite a spacious restaurant. Fresh seafood and fishes on display. Ordered a fish platter, ink risotto with cuttle fish, seafood pasta, salad, a house wine, and a beer for €64. Foods of good quality and generous portion!

Very nice place in the middle of old town, loved the service and food was excellent. We took octopus and sea food salad and vagabond pizza - everything was great. We are also pleased with the prices, I consider them spot on.Thank You for having us, we will be back 😉

Constantly good. Perfect service as always. Good quality food. This time we did not go for the fish (which by the way they always do prepare very tasty) but we just selected different things from the menu. Šurlice (local pasta) with shrimps and green souce very delicious. Risotto with shrimps done al dente and super tasty. Grilled squids were good as they should be.
We also had 2 pizzas - vegetarian and quattro formaggi - got dough and nice topping. All this went well with new house red wine from Kabola winery from North of Istria. Very strong taste but smooth.
Sweets on the end were just to round up nice early dinner with cheesecake and tiramisu.
And all this for very reasonable price. Highly recommend!!!

The ambient is very cozy and nice, and the service was awesome, we got a very charismatic waiter. Ordered bruschetta as an entry and it was delicious. On the other hand my main meal was pizza Primavera. The dough was okay, although nothing extraordinary, maybe a bit overcooked, but the toppings were very abundant and fresh. Overall I would definitely recommend!

We had a see food platter, Mediterranean scallops and a nice piece of San Pier fish. Everything was delicious. The service was great too.

Really good fresh seafood. We especially liked the mussels and the Adriatic fish. Sides are also great, I would recommend mangold and pizza bread fresh from the oven!

Nice place, very cozy and the pizza's was really good and plenty. The server was quick and smiling.

Lovely restaurant hidden from the Main Street in old town of Krk.
Prices are a bit higher but wroth to try, the food was amazing and the portions are bigger than expected. ☺

One of the best food I've had in Croatia so far. We've tried octopus carpaccio, pizza with prosciutto and black risotto. Everything was absolutely delicious,first class.The service was very nice and the food prepared and served very quickly. Prices very attractive,especially taking the quality into consideration. A must visit place when in Krk!!!

We visted few times this place over our stay and it has always been great. The pizza was a generous size, with fresh ingredients and the dough was easy to digest.
Another time we had some pasta which was ' al dente' and super tasty and some fish, which was super fresh and cooked immaculately.
Great quality of the food, staff really friendly and professional and clean environment. Definitely reccomend this place.
