King’s Caffe food pub

A very good place to eat and drink. The staff is friendly and helpful. The food, especially the burgers are amazing. They offer good craft beer. There are places to sit outside.

Stopped for a few beers on the afternoon and decided to call back later on in the evening for some food could not fault the service and food would highly recommend we even called back the following morning for breakfast....amazing keep up the great work 👌

We had a quick visit to Rijeka and discovered a lovely place for lunch. Although I'm not a big burger fan, I gave their signature "Karaburger" a shot, and it turned out to be the best burger I've had in Europe. The service was great, and the prices were fair.

🥩: The food the pub offers ia amazing because everything is made from scratch. Even the toast, which is incredible. From omelets, to burgers and salads, variety is nice. Special menu for breakfast times.
🍸: Pub's crafted beer, cola, cool drinks like strawberry lemonade. Cool cocktails.
👨‍🍳: Service was fun and very knowledgeable about their menu.
🏡: Ambience is like a pub, mostly in wood and old style chairs and tables with pretty decor. Tables have chessboards on them which is nice.
💰 Prices are really fair, not expensive.
🥲 Can't mention anything bad, except the odd thing that WC has no doors haha.

Delicious food for reasonable price. Really kind and professional service. Definitely place worth stopping either for breakfast and coffee or for dinner. I highly recommend it!

We went here twice; once for dinner and then for breakfast a couple of days later. The burger and chips for dinner was absolutely fantastic, as were the craft beers. The eggs benedict for breakfast was very good as well, and the service and prices were excellent too. Highly recommended.

The food was excellent, the portion sizes were great and on top of that, the location is also really nice.

Our server, Daniel, was super helpful, and the food came in a very timely manner.

We tried the beef cheeseburger (shown in pic) and the crispy chicken burger with a side of potatoes, and we both were really impressed with the food.

Looking at the prices, the food was really good value, both in terms of portion sizes and quality. Tried other places as well, where the prices were similar or higher, yet they had smaller portions.
In this case, for less than 200kn we had an amazing dinner which left both of us satisfied.

Based on our experience, it’s a great restaurant, and it’s definitely worth checking it out!

In the city center, nice terrace with a pleasant environment.

Good, I like when they ask is everything good and they were really on spot.

PRICE

I would say it's a good price, we pay 52 HRK for a burger (around 7€) and the same amount for burrito.

FOOD

Tasty, good portion, the only complaint was that chicken burrito has some basic things inside like lettuce, tomatoes, corn, tiny pieces of avocado - of course, all of them are written on the menu, it's just when you get it, oh, basic. Still, it is tasty and waiting time was 23 minutes (we came there around 9 in the evening and it was completely full).

OVERALL

One of those places I recommend to visit and for sure I will visit it again when coming to Rijeka. Try it and I hope this review helps.

Great place for food and their own beer, highly recommended!

Good food, HUGE sandwiches, nice outdoor seating. Wife had the chicken Cubano, she loved it. The fries were round and tasty, like potato chips but fries. Friendly servers that spoke perfect English, which was very helpful for us as we only know basic croatian phrases. Great beer and cocktail selection too!

2019 I had the chicken club sandwich with French fries. Good sandwich and very large, could be shared by 2 people. Service was OK, they were a little busy. There was a nice breeze for such a hot day.
16 May 2022, upped to 5 stars. Finally made it back to Rijek. We stopped at King's for a late lunch. We didn't realize how tired we were from traveling and the wait staff was very kind and packed our food to take away. Excellent crispy chicken burger and cheese burger.

One of the best places in Rijeka. Good beer and atmosphere. Food is great! Especially the grilled cheese sandwich.
BUT IT'S 2023 AND YOU'RE STILL USING PLASTIC STRAWS. Turtles are very disappointed

Lovely restaurant near the theater in Rijeka. Food was delicious, burger and breakfast as well. Coffee was ok, I even got a glass of water with it. They served Pepsi in a glass with lemon and ice. You can find some decent beer as well. I highly recommend it!

We had a very pleasant lunch here, super Service with good english skills. The food was very delicious and still cheap, the only downside in a perfect experience was the portion size of the lord of the wings. It was tasty, but the portion was small in comparison to the other dishes, still 5 stars for the best restaurant in Rijeka. My personal recommendation: Try the raspberry lemonade!

The loaded fries tripletta are amazing! Crunchy all the time with a hint of garlic, chease and pulled meat. The Karaburger is also the best of its kind I ate in Europe.

Everything was perfect and very tasty! Super suggested for breakfast/brunch!

No disappointments, vegan options are delicious. Hats off to the chef and friendly staff. Definitely a must-visit!

The Place is centrally located chicken wings were really good and the service friendly and polite!!!! Go there for s drink and s quick bite!!!

Enjoy your day with a delicious Kameleon beer, add 3 meat sandwich or Benedict eggs with trifle or any burger or.....any food here tastes excellent and prepared with love!
