A pleasant 30ish minute walk from the old town, this place feels local and friendly. The portions are on the larger size that are full of favour. The fresh salad and house wines also both good. Great to get out of the centre and experience something a little more authentically Croatian. The puff bread things they bring to begin with are hard to stop eating!

Homemade food by owner Vjeko. Vegetables are fresh. Fish was fresh and very nice. Homemade sweets and Klasuni were made fantastic. Service and atmosphere excellent.

Came here for the njoke & pasticada. It’s one of my favorite dishes and it’s hard to find a place that make their own njoke. The food was amazing, very big portion! The service was great and we got ‘uštipke’ as starter. Best I’ve had so far! (Even better then my mother makes them ;) )

Great food, and absolutely fabulous service! Definitely order the dessert platter/ cakes to finish it off, they are fabulous. Highly recommend this place if you are in the area. A very special mention (again!) to the service. We loved it!

Website hours are wrong. Google hours are right. The food is awesome. Some great dishes. Definitely try the makareni and the sopavac. Huge portions also, perfect for sharing. If you have a large group you are in luck they have special dishes for groups. The homemade cheese is great.

I want to start by thanking the person in charge who offered to make a Peka for us even if we were a small group.
This is a true sign of how much they care about customers.

Eggplant was delicious and macaroni was perfectly cooked.

We returned this year and had a great meal. We forgot we had a good time last year. Everything we ordered was great tasting and the food arrived very quickly.

Žrnovski makaruni are some of the best if not the best we've had on the island. The portion was very generous, pasta cooked al dente, the sauce was very well made, savory, you could really taste the onions. Fillet mignon was thick, tender piece of meat that was grilled to perfection.

You also get "pogačice" and home-made dessert wine at no charge, a nice gesture.

The waiter Marko was attentful and tastefully funny making the whole experience even more enjoyable.

It was a very hot day and the clay shingles that are providing a shade make it even hotter as they accumulate heat from the sun despite the 6 ceiling fans (perhaps some insulation would cut down the radiation heat).

If you want to feel taste like meal from home I recommend this place, so delicious, native Korcula's food. The best service, thanks for best dinner in your island 😁😁😁🏝🏝🏝

Arguably, one of the best restaurants on the island and definitely one of the best priced! Food was delicious, the service very friendly and portions were really generous (we ordered a salad and one vegetarian meal and it was just perfect for 2) and reasonably priced. Bonus points: a child friendly place and there are vegetarian options. Highly recommended!!

We ate pasticada and it was excellent and the portion was big. Waiter very friendly and polite.

We had lunch here while staying in Korcula Town - this was easily one of the best meals we had in Croatia. The Žrnovski Makaruni is outstanding, and the homemade bread they make is nothing short of amazing! I cannot recommend this place enough!

Delicious local cuisine, must to visit if you want to try real Croatian flavors. Moreover, very friendly staff and atmosphere like home.

Even though they serve seafood and meat, us vegans had a great meal. We ate pasta arrabiata and girlled eggplant and it was well made and seasoned. We even got complementary pastry and sweets with some cherry wine. The staff is very profesional and they have a great communication with the customers.

Nice restaurant, we eat grilled meat, fries and and pasta with prawns. Good wine and fried bread, we take same to go.

Great food fantastic service. We ate the pasta with meat sauce it was very tasty and large portion. Tasty large glasses of wine and the bread basket well u just have to go to taste the bread delicious. Complementary drinks with delicious chocolates very reasonably priced. We will return

The best food i have ever tasted!! We were here in november (no restaurants were opened in this area) but here...everything was sooo fresh and you can taste the difference (from all the other restaurants) they really make everything by themselves and soo delicious!! I definitely recommend to everyone! And the staff is very kind too!!❤

Everything was great :) waiter was very nice and food was tasty. Meat plate for one person was enough for my boyfriend and I (together with salad, but I don't eat a lot) .. i recommend water with herbs (mint, lemon etc).
