Medora Auri Family Beach Resort

We spent a week at this hotel and couldn't be happier with our stay. This place has a lot to offer, and our impressions were extremely positive.

The staff was extremely professional and helpful. The hotel staff was always smiling, ready to help and provide any information we needed.

Our room was spacious, clean and well equipped. The view from the window to the sea was amazing, especially at sunset.

The hotel restaurant offers excellent regional cuisine and we had the opportunity to try many local specialties. Breakfasts were varied and tasty.

The location of the hotel is also noteworthy. Its proximity to tourist attractions and beautiful walking trails make it an excellent base for any traveler.

We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an unforgettable stay in beautiful surroundings. We will definitely come back here!

We overall enjoyed our stay. The hotel is on a good location. It has easy access to the beach, the rooms are good, the food
is great and my only complaint is regarding the hotel policy to deny late checkouts in special cases like babies finishing up their nap.

I had positive encounters with all the staff, starting from the sales department and Marko, the receptionist, the cleaning staff and the waiters.

Our stay was excellent, the hotel is great, perfect approach of the receptionists upon arrival at the hotel. I would accept a bit of variety in the cuisine, especially for children, otherwise great. The location of the hotel is amazing and right on the beach. The hotel is very nice and the overall service is great. The food was all in all good and always fresh. Unfortunately, it is very problematic to use the elevators with a child and stroller, because they are always overloaded and you have to wait a long time until you can use the elevator.

A beatiful hotel where everything is amazing. What fascinated me the most was the building on the hill and when you went to the beach you could take elevator. We had a small dog with us, there was no problem in this hotel. The food was amazing, incredible choice. Very nice staff, especially the cleaning lady (short black hair on the 7th floor). The reservation itself was above standard, Monika Lesniak was very helpful. Even the cooks in the restaurant were very nice (Vesela, Anita and Natalija). If we go to Croatia next time, we will come only here. Thank you very much for a wonderful holiday.

Start your car, pack your luggage and go there. You will be pleased, great rooms, great sunset view, kitchen with various food every day. For little kids great swimming pool and for little older animation stuff.
Podgora is small but very nice village. Many restaurants on promenade for those, which does not preffer hotel culinary food.

We enjoyed our stay in Medora Auri very much, we stayed here for 8 days, rooms were very nice and clean, food was good, many options to choose from, the beach is great. We booked it for the many free facilities included (parking, sunbeds and towels, drinks during meals) and it was totally a good choice.
Super thanks for our free boat trip to the islands and for the nice personnel. The call before to check if anything is needed from our part for a good stay, that we received from Marija was a nice surprise.

It was absolutely gorgeous stay! Everything was awesome. Location right on beautiful beach, very spacious nice decorated rooms and very tasty food! Our daughter needs to have gluten free diet. Nothing was a problem. Special thanks for the breakfast team and great Mrs.Vesela.Thanks to them our daughter had gluten free pancakes every morning:). We will definitely come back.

We stayed at the hotel at the beginning of September. The hotel meets the highest requirements. Our room was in the Mimosa building overlooking the garden and sea. Recently renovated room, comfortable bed, very clean.
The hotel has a gym and spa center.
We took half board and were very pleased with the restaurant, the abundance and variety of dishes, sweets and fruits.

We spent here 11 nights (mid-June) in superior double room (with sea view) and first of all I can definitely recommend the room. It is worth to pay a little bit more because the view is superb. In general the view is one of the strongest selling point of this hotel. All of the common areas like pool, restaurant, gym, bar have great sea-view.

The second strongest point is the general convenience. All of the things/places that you may need are in the hotel (playroom for kids, bar, restaurant, gym, pool, beach which is just in front of hotel). I also appreciate that we didn't have to worry about sunbeds (which are quite good quality, not these plastic ones) and umbrellas on the beach because there were full of them.

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful so I cannot.

One only one thing that could be better is food. I mean it was good but meals, especially for breakfast, could be changed at least on weekly basis. However, this wasn't something that could influence the overall experiance that was great.

PS. We have also left hoodie in the hotel and the staff was able to find it and send it back to us. The hotel even covered the delivery fee so it was definitely nice gesture that we appreciate.

In the past 25 years we visit Croatia each year. Medora is one of the best family hotels where we stayed as of now!

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with impeccable hospitability!
The level of service provided is exceptional. Attentiveness, professionalism truly made a difference and created an enjoyable atmosphere.

The cleanless, the variety of services, the view exceeded our expectations. The small additional gestures (like the bottle of wine at departure) were the cherry on top.

The dining experience at the hotel was exceptional as well. The variety and the quality of meals served were outstanding. Small recommendation regarding the beach: sunbeds and umbrellas in the first rows should be managed by the hotel staff, ensuring a minimal social distance and avoiding that some early birds put their towels at 5:30 at the beach but not using them half day.

Summarizing: I am truly grateful for the wonderful memories. I undoubtedly recommend the hotel to everyone who travels with family, you will not find better!

As a long-time visitor, I go to this hotel because I know that they do everything to make people feel at home there. Top accommodation, perfect food, sea and history, and above all a unique atmosphere that you can only feel in Croatia.

Very nice family hotel, were on vacation and celebrated my mother's birthday. Everything was great, from the condition of the rooms and service, to the food and drinks in the restaurant, which is just full of choice. The service is really top notch, like I was in a 5 star hotel, I especially want to mention the waiter Daniil, he was extremely helpful and attentive, I would also like to mention such team members as David, Domagoj and Gordona. Definitely worth visiting this hotel again, suitable for both families and couples.

For many years we're visiting different places in Croatia for summer holidays. Definitely, this is one of the best places to stay. Room reservation process was easy and reliable, via direct contact thru hotel web site. Monika Leśniak was our sales specialist and she was very kind and helpful. Rooms are clean and tidy. Our room was sea view, where we enjoyed the sound of waves. In our package was included breakfast and dinner with drinks included. Food was nicely presented very tasty and huge veraity. Here I would like to point out great omlet in the morning prepared by Natalia and Petra. Other facilities were great too. Fitness center is very well equipped. There are many young employees and all of them have friendly "how can I help you approach". Parking is privided with easy access controlled by ramp which opens with room card. On the beach are many sun beds and umbrellas with towels privided. Swimming pools are with crystal clear water just perfect temperature. Hotel is family oriented so many guests are with children. However even if coming without children you can enjoy your stay, hotel staff takes care of small guests equally great, so here kids enjoy their time
I hope to come back again and enjoy this spectacular place. Definitely this place is recommended.
To have balanced review one note I have about sun beds. Some guests go early to the beach taking sun beds and umbrellas to "reserve the spot" however some of them don't come out until noon. I think it shouldn't be allowed to occupy the spot if not using it. I understand this is more about guests behaviour, not hotel, but this is the only comment I could make for improvement.

I love this hotel , good food , good entertainment for kids , rooms are clean with amazing view of the sea , I usually visit every year during summer and plan to return every year . Love it ! And Marija stanic was absolutely fabulous she got us the exact room we wanted with all our needs met ! And kept the communication going till we were satisfied 5 stars for her .

We had a wonderful time at Medora Auri. This resort is extremely clean, very accommodating, private beach, everything within walking distance, great family atmosphere and so much more. I will definitely come back.

This year we spent our summer vacation at MEDORE Luxury Camp and it was the best choice. The house was clean and had everything needed. The biggest bonus was the private pool. The beautiful beach was just a few meters from us. We could stay there all summer. All the employees were very nice and helpful, we thank Lidia, Marija and Zoe for their help.
