Vinarija Grabovac

One of my favorite wineries in Croatia. Top notch wines. There was no one wine from all that we tested, that was bad or that I didn’t like it. Owners are friendly and great hosts. We enjoyed it and hope to see you again.

Highly recommended if you want to visit a family owned enterprise, off the beaten path, away from usual toursist crowds, and immerse into local history and culture. This is a great small winery, family owned since 1812. Rich history, combined with great tasting wines. We were hosted by Milan, a family member, who gave us very interesting insights into the local soils, wine making history and chose some really great options based on our pallette.

We had a wonderful afternoon at the Grabovac Winery. Although we chose the tasting with 8 wines, we ended up tasting a total of 10 wines without any additional cost. We learnt a lot about the production of the local wine, the similarities between the Dalmatian and other regional wines. Our two hosts were very knowledgeable and made us very enthousiastic about their wines. We recommend this tasting to anyone visiting the Imotski/Makarska region!

My husband and me went there this afternoon to do a wine tasting. We tasted ten different wines, including sparkling, white, rose and red wines. They were all great!!
The owner of the winery was very nice and explained us everything, he also showed us the winery.

Our first winery experience and it was amazing. We booked the premium wine tasting and it was worth every penny! The owner was really passionate about wine and we learned a whole lot about the production and tasting of different wines. The tasting also included some homemade prosciutto, bread etc. We ended up shipping 5 different wines back home to finland and also that part worked flawlessly. I highly recommend this experience to everyone.

Really beautiful Location, with vineyards right next to the tastingroom. They also have air conditioning, and a beautiful interior.
The (son of the)Owner and the team around him are super nice and welcoming. Every question was answered and the wine is amazing.
We were able to taste a wide range of different wines with an explanation for each and everyone of them.
All in all an exceptional experience and I would recommend to anyone whether or not you’re really into wine or not.

Great place for people who love wine. You can drink on the spot or buy a few bottles for later. Nice competent staff advises very well. They speak english. You can pay by credit card

Amazing and authentic experience! We were really well taken care of the whole evening - the gentleman who was with us was very kind, and the wine of course was also great! A little expensive taxi from Brela (160€) - but it was definitely worth it! Highly recommendable 🙂

By accident discovered this winery. Really welcome host, had a quick tasting of too much wine :). Great host and he seemd very dedicated in making the best quality wine. Told us everything about the wines and about the history of the winery (his family has been making wine for more then 200 years).

We had the best time at the Grabovac vinery. If you are staying in Makarska, I would really recommend to book a vine tasting tour. You will meet some lovely people, who really care about what they doing and taste some wonderful vine. The vine tasting tour was one of the highlights of our stay in Makarska. Warmly recommended!

Visiting this family winery was one of the absolute highlights of our three weeks in Croatia. It's located in a charming town, and the tasting room has a great view of the vineyard and surrounding mountains. We had the Winemaker's Wine Tasting, and it was a bargain. We tasted about ten wines with lots of variety, and they were all great! We also got to snack on locally made cheese, prosciutto, and sausage. Our guide was super knowledgeable and friendly. We learned much about their approach to winemaking and the winemaking tradition of the Imotski region. Thank you for a magical experience!

Nicola, one of the brothers who runs this winery, took very well care of us. High level of knowledge as well as service. Good range of wines too!

Very friendly and welcomig staff. Gustomer service was better than In hotels at hier. Wine's were very good and It was very interesting to know their wine making and see that.

Almost one year ago Thatcher we strall into this amazing wineyard. Came 25 min after closing time. Still we were welcome to sit in the Nice backyard and split a really Nice spackling White wine.
Booked a wine tast for som days later.
It was magnificent.
Just now splitted the same type of botten Thatcher we bought 6 bottles of and carfully brougth home :)
