Bistro Adria

The food was delicious and we waited just around 10 minutes for the food. But it took long time before the waiter came to us to place order. But overall really good!

August 2018:

This was for sure the best dinner we had on our vacation! The staff is very professional and friendly. We waited for about 15 minutes to get our meals, which is super fast considering that the restaurant was almost full and there were several families, who came and ordered at the same time as we did. My boyfriend had an “Orada” fish (Gilthead Sea-Bram) and potatoes with mangel. He also ordered an Octopus salad, since there were a few reviews of how good it is here. Both dishes were very delicious. I had an “Osijek” steak (a pork Cordon Bleu), topped with champignon sauce and added french fries. The sauce was a liiiitle bit too salty for my taste (due to the other facts, it was probably just an one-time kitchen accident 😉), but overall it was still a very delicious combination. The steak was made very well. I also ordered a cabbage salad, which was very good (you can always get me with a good cabbage salad 😬). After the dinner, we even got free Rakija shots, which was a pleasant addition to the whole evening. We paid about 300 HRK (40€), which is not much, considering it’s a touristical place and we ate 3 main dishes, 1 salad and both drank wine (2x 2 dcl). We left more than satisfied! 😋

Update (August 2019):
Since last year‘s tasty experience, of course we had to visit Adria Étterem again... and nothing has changed. The only minus was the Octopus salad - it was a bit different from what it used to be. This time, it had a lot of green salad in it and way less Octopus... which is a pity, because everyone was raving about the „old“ Octopus salad. Let‘s hope that they bring back the old version of it, because even I loved it (and I usually don’t eat Octopus at all)! The prices and the quality/taste of the other dishes are the same as last year. See you next year, Adria Étterem! 😃👍🏻

Like always during the past 20 years we had a pleasant dinner here. We had fish soup which was unique of its kind in this region with a bit of cream and a touch of soury taste. The second course was grilled bream (orada in Croatian) also prepared to perfection.

I ate here twice on my vacation, and wasn’t disappointed. The food is excellent, the staff speak German and English, and the homemade fig schnapps is the best in Novi. I highly recommend this restaurant!!

I recommend you go there. It's in the city centre so it's better to go there at night, when there is music or performances on the main square.
The good was delicious, excellent service, very friendly staff. They speak the best English in whole Novi Vinoodlksi. Just worth going!

Good quality food and moderate prices in the center of Novi. My favourite dish is a huge fresh salad with fried calamari rings. Give it a try!
...ok and I must add: a traditional Hungarian dish called perkelt - a tasty veal stew with gnocchi. Extraordinary.

Great experience. We had soup, seafood and fish platter, pasta. The food was fresh and tasty. The waiter was very nice. They have options for allergies. The toilets are clean.

Nice restaurant, great menu choice, very attentive staff. The plate for two is really big! Payment by card possible. Recommended. Once again, you feel here welcomed.

Everything on the menu is absolutely delicious, high quality food and service for a decent price. The personnel is friendly and polite, the ambient is modern and cozy, the premises are clean. This restaurant is a one of the reasons to visit Novi Vinodolski, as it will make your vacation more pleasant and tasty :)
