Konoba Ive

I felt as if I had attempted a robbery, considering how disproportionate the quality of the food was compared to the cost. This even included the price of coffee. The warm atmosphere, the local clientele, and the menu only in Croatian (which I appreciated, despite not speaking a word) made it a delightful experience. The host was gracious and hospitable, a true refuge in paradise. Every new guest who passed by greeted me as if I were a local. The service was flawless, and the food was the best I’ve had in a long time, and I live in Italy. Please, tourists, don’t ruin this place. Be quiet and respectful. If you come for lunch, just ask for the daily menu. Don’t even inquire about its contents (unless you have allergies). You will have one of the most wonderful dining experiences ever.

Very good fish restaurant located a bit outside of the Rijeka city center. The restaurant building is originating from 1846. The restaurant owner is nice and always present there checking if everything is alright. The food is delicious. The staff and the service are good. In general reservations are required. Parking places are located around the restaurant.

We went for lunch to Konoba Ive. Even though all the tables in the garden were reserved, they found us a place. The waitress was very nice, giving us really good suggestions about the side dishes and food they have. The food was great, fresh, tasty and the portions were generous. It was a really enjoyable experience, which we will surely repeat. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves sea food. Quick tip: reserve a table in advance, Konoba Ive is a real gem.

Romantic seafood tavern in residential area, enjoyed a brodetto marinara followed by scampi Alla buzara with some decent house wine.

We came across this place by accident. It was the best food we had during pur stay in Rijeka - not that the other places were bad. They were good. But Konoba Ive was amazing. Great food, great service, great ambiente.

Amazing atmosphere and super nice waiter. The food is very tasty and prices are inexpensive! A must go when in Rijeka, or just passing by (it's only 1 km from the highway, so it's easy accesible if you are just passing by Rijeka and you want to eat good!). But be sure to make a reservation before. Seafood in general on the menu.

Very nice small business, the fisherman brings fresh fish, the serving lady is very nice and speaks english.

Excellent fish food! We had fish pate and fish soup for the first plate, and fried calamari with French fries and sea bass with Swiss chard for the second one. The food was very delicious. Home-made apple pie was also great. Reasonable prices. My recommendations!

Very comfortable ambience, the waiter is professional and relaxed at the same time .. the boss is smiling, kind and unobtrusive. The food arrived relatively quickly and everything tasted really good, I would single out the black risotto .. pure five ..
When I am in Rijeka again I will definitely go to them .. all recommendations!
