Konoba Mrs&Mr Caput

Thoroughly enjoyed our beautiful meal and experience here last night. The lady serving, whom I assume is the owner, was fantastic and a really warm host - she made us feel very welcome and at ease immediately by offering homemade drinks and offering to talk us through the menu. I would normally feel uncomfortable by this but the lady was lovely and not at all pushy so it worked out well. At the time of our visit we were the only customers which saddened me as this place deserves a huge crowd - the food was delicious, and the view/atmosphere is amazing. We had three courses (the starter we shared) and two drinks each (two being homemade wine) which came to 94€. This is more expensive than other restaurants however for the service and quality we received - we think this is brilliant and we left feeling very full.

We noticed some customers that arrived before we left struggled to find the entrance as there isn’t an obvious sign near the stairs that lead to the restaurant however I think this is a positive as it adds to the experience and makes it feel more unique.

We already want to return for our final night at the weekend after such a fab experience. Thank you, thank you.

Have to give this one a 5 star! This is a nice place to go with your wife for some great food and superb views.

Started with a salad with very fresh ingredients and a prosciutto and cheese platter (forgot to take a foto). The home made prosciutto was an absolute delight.

Then we ordered the lamb Peka (which needs to be ordered in advanced). This was delicious!!

I’m highly impressed with the quality and food in Dubrovnik. The first time we came, we didn’t rent a car, which kind of forced us to eat closer to our hotel (Imperial Hilton), but this second time around we had a car. This turned out to be a great decision, as this allowed us to explore the little gems outside of the city.

Great food and amazing hosts. Best local wine and a view to enjoy it. Everything anyone has to try in their vacation in Dubrovnik. If you ever visit Sokol Grad stop by Mr. & Mrs. Caput and even if you don’t but you are a gourmand you need to pay them a visit.

Truly amazing place with stunning views, must visit when in Dalmatian coast. They have cellar, introducing tasting of the local wines and liquors. Every time visiting the place, you will be treated as a family member. And the food is just something different - fresh fish brought from the local market on the same day, local marinated sardines and shrimps. The octopus under the bell was the best we tried in Croatia.

I recommended this restaurant to my parents and their friends after reading the reviews and I'm very happy I did. They were so delighted with everything and said that I must leave the best review! The place is very nice with wonderful views, food is tasty and full of flavours, wine was brilliant and the hosts are very friendly and accommodating. This restaurant is a real hidden gem. The best restaurant in Konavle in my opinion and I visited them all. It offers excellent value for money. The view is amazing. Everything is spotlessly clean. You feel so welcome. You experience a relaxed family atmosphere. The food was fresh and delicious. The waitress was so kind. It is on my must-visit list every time I am in Dubrovnik.

Absolutely amazing place so beautiful inside. Its a family run business. Everything is so lovely. We tried there local liqueurs so lovely. We had there rose which was so good. Made in there vineyard. Amazing food. We had three courses and was stuffed. Lol. Was shown around the place and it was amazing. Loved it there. Would highly recommend.

We were treated like family from the moment we arrived. We enjoyed delicious food and the warmest hospitality. Would highly recommend.

We visited this restaurant twice during our holiday in August and both times we went we had a truly amazing experience. The staff are absolutely amazing and we received some of the best service ever! The food is delicious and comes in very large portions! Their house wine made on location is excellent and the views are breathtaking. Highly recommend this place! Would return in a heartbeat!

Just spent a lovely evening here enjoying fantastic food and superb service, watching a glorious sunset over the Adriatic. For a restaurant that is so new they have got it just right. To round the evening off we were taken to the family winery directly below the restaurant for some impromptu tasting! Spend an evening here, you will not be disappointed.

We just had a great evening with 7 friends. A menu composed this morning just suited to our desires. We started with a little tasting of wine and schnapps. Followed a fish based 4 course meal. Closed it with a grappa and an exchange on history, the region, culture, ... you name it. Thanks Mrs and Mr Caput.

The most amazing generous hosts and a location to match. We watched a massive storm while ordering, however were ushered inside when the rain blew in.

We went twice during our recent stay in the area. This was clearly the best restaurant that we went to. Warm welcome, attentive service and spectacular views across the valley and out to the Adriatic. Worth the trip out of the way.
