Restaurant Bracera

Very kind and quick staff, great food. We were served very fast, from order to eating. The ambience is lovely, looking at the beautiful sea across the road.
I ordered tuna steak medium rare and enjoyed it very much, I recommend it to all, especially tuna lovers. :)

I highly recommend this restaurant in Croatia! After trying numerous restaurants in the area during our 11-day stay, we can confidently say that the food here is the best. We dined here three times and were consistently impressed. The quality of the dishes is exceptional, and the prices are reasonable. The restaurant's popularity speaks volumes, with a large number of visitors. Don't miss out on this culinary gem!

We had a pleasure to visit Bracera several times during our stay in Baška Voda. The food was delicious and the staff was kind, professional, treating their guest like old friends. This made us wanting to come back for more even though, at times, without a reservation we had to wait over one hour for a free table for two. I would recommend making a reservation, especially if you're planning to enjoy dinner as a group of more than two. One thing I didn't like about this place is that smoking is allowed at the table - I think that's allowed in Croatia in general, however it really ruins the whole experience.
Dogs are allowed and as a good gesture at the end of our meal we always got a shot of cherry vodka. You can pay cash or card, no problem.

Some of the dishes we have tried:
1.Mornareva Juha - Sailor's stew (Very tasty soup, the portion is veeeery large, however you can ask to split it for two or ask for a smaller portion. If you don't, I doubt if you would be able to have a second dish!
2.Paški sir - Island Pag cheese (Absolutely delicious cheese, a great starter!)
3.Mušule u umaku od bijelog luka i vina - Mussels in garlic white vine sauce (Good but I wouldn't get it again. Many were empty and the sauce was quite greasy as a lot of olive oil was used - not my favourite)
4.Pržene Lignje - Fried squids (Good)
5.Filet od Tune - Tuna steak ( A must try if you never had it. One of the top dish!)
6.Grill "Bracera"
7.Pizza Capriciosa & Pizza Salami (We had them for take away. Both were very good)
8.Riblja Plata 'Adria' - Fish platter
9.Miješano meso - Mixed grilled meat

Absolutely loved this meal. Delicious and authentic! We ordered a glass of bourse wine, an ice tea, a squid risotto, mussels and octopus salad and finished the meal with the chocolate cake with fig and coconut flake - the portion is good and it’s €47 for people. It’s a popular local restaurant with many local guests - would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to try authentic Croatian food!

This restaurant has a view to the sea. Plenty of tables. Staff is pretty fast. Wide selection of dishes and prices are affordable. I had risotto with seafood for 13€ that was a steal with how much seafood was in. The only downside rice were a bit dry. Overall a solid place that is worth visiting again! 🍾🥂

Probably one of the best restaurant in Baska Voda, the restaurant is really good and the queue to get there is really long, so I recommend making a reservation if you don't want to wait an hour for a table. I had a reservation, but I still waited 10-15 minutes... 🤷‍♂

Anyway, great atmosphere, excellent service and good food. I recommend especially the fish platter for two, it's a platter of excellent fish meat, you can try almost all the fish from the menu.

The food is excellent.
Very good and nice ambience. The tables are perfectly arranged, giving privacy. Exceptional staff who are always smiling. The restaurant is still managed by the family, which is probably an additional reason for such good food and service.

The restaurant is right on the beach so after a swim you can go grab a bite. We came here 3 times and every dish we had was delicious. My favorite was the Spaghetti Napoli with fresh tomato sauce, basil and andante pasta. Staff was very hospitable. Would come back when in town.

I highly recommend to make a reservation, on the other hand, it is not possible to eat here, because of long crowd of people waiting for free table. Grilled fish with mangold and boiled potatoes were really delicious (price is 16€). We got starters (bread) and in the end aperitive automatically. It was nice surprise.

Amazing place, very good food for normal prices. Staff service is top level. Just perfect, defintely recommending. We had black risotto and tuna steak both were very good.

Delicious food and great staff, fish was perfectly grilled and fresh, pizza with pumpkin base was amazing, if you will visit Baška Voda in the future, you must go to this please, Love Baška, Love Bracera, Love Croatia ❤❤❤

Really excellent food (especially fresh fish and grilled meet, on real grill) . Excellent personell that treat you like a God. For reccomandation. We have felt very nice there many times. Prices are not very high for that quality .

Probably the best restaurant in Baska Voda, people are queuing in peak times (around 8pm) so it is better to book a table upfront. We sat on the terrace with a beautiful view over the beach and the sea. The service was proffesional, fast and all meals fresh & delicious (we had a soup, a pizza, a steak and a fish). The rumpsteak was excellent, I would only expect something more sophisticated than just a french fries - still a space to improve!
