€10 adult for wall and fort, Parked at Mali Ston €1 per hour for a car for 3hrs but should have done 4 to include a lunch stop in Ston. It was breezy, definitely recommend taking water if it was hot. Walked the walls to Ston and around the city which was stunning, with fantastic views. iPhone said 60 flights, we skipped the city walls section on the return trip.

It’s a great way to explore. Make sure to go all the way up from Mail Ston to Big Ston city on the other side of the wall . Lots of steps:) but not horrible. The view is breathtaking and they do some restoration there too so your €10 entrance fee goes to support. You can come back to Mail Ston via 15 min walk along the road if you don’t feel climbing back all the way to your parking spot.

Nice walk from Ston Walls Entrance to Mali Ston. It takes around 1 - 1,5 hour depends on outside temperature. Unfortunately upper part is not finished. It is possible to go to top of the hill by forest from Mali Ston. It takes around 45 mins.

You need a ticket to visit the walls. If you go to Ston with a tour, you will only have time to do a small part of the walls but the views are nice and photos are good.

Amazing walls!
The longest in Europe and the second in the world after the Chinese.
Great experience to do on a sunny day, with rain skip it, and only one hour ride from Dubrovnik

Similar to the Great wall. Very impressive ! Charming little village with good places to eat. There is also a place to see the traditional process of salt.

This wall is one of the better maintained walls in Croatia, the steps are a little steeper and if you're feeling up to it you can take part in the Ston wall marathon.

Not as known as Dubrovnik, Ston walls are great experience for nature and culture sightseeing, with great vistas to Adriatic Sea. Be prepared for some serious walk, even though you can take a smaller circle.

Fun experience and great views of the city! Its a pity that the portion of the wall leading to the top of the hill is closed for renovation; would have been even more stunning..

Nice small town with great history and small Croatian (chinese wall :-))
Also there is okd fashion sea salt factory and if you are a lover of oysters you can try and buy very fresh ones as they grow there.
Must see the place

Well worth a trip. Dubrovnik is impressive - but the engineering and sheer effort taken to build the walls at Ston is breathtaking. Definitely pay to go on the walls and walk up - amazing views

A walk up the walls between Ston and Mali Ston is certainly not an easy walk but it is definitely worth it for the views! If you want an easier walk approach from the Mali Ston side.

Medieval Ston was a wealthy town, rich from salt trade, known as white gold during its glory days before the invention of the refrigerator. They still produced salt from this traditional method - only relying on the weather to dry up sea water and increasing the salinity using salt pan (can be seen in front of the entrance like padi fields). Salinity is slowly increase to 18% and they use local fishes to test as they will die beyond 18%. The water is moved to another pan and raise to 24% for crystalization. They test using potato or egg which will float in the water. Finally the water is moved to the pan closest to the entrance for crystalization. The top level is the best quality and most valuable known as salt flower.

Amazing experience. The ticket is 70 kn. There is a short and a long route. The short one is about 20 min, the long about 45 min. If you start from Ston and choose the long route you will reach Mali Ston. From there there is a path alongside the road from which you can return to Ston for about 15-20 min walking. The view from the top is spectacular and it's totally worth the visit.
