When I saw the beautiful photos on the internet I got hooked and I decided to come to see it in person. The water is clear and there are fish in it, the dark blue deep water gives out mysterious vibes. This location in Google map is not well marked, search “Occhio della terra” and follow it, you’ll find the eye of the Earth.

Amazing place, the best kept secret in Croatia. You believe that you are at Yellowstone so nice it isn’t the morning glory pool but really close! Fantastic to see. Go and see it by your self!

Beautiful river worth of several visits as you can enjoy rafting, canoeing and canyoning or just swim. And source of the river is also worth of visit as well as beautiful canyon when Cetina is coming to sea near Omis.

Worthwhile to visit if one likes such natural phenomina. The water of the spring ist super clean and one may imagine that it is more than 150 meters deep.

The Cetina river runs for about 65 miles before letting out into the Adriatic Sea. Its waters flow at the foot of the Dinara, the highest mountain massif in Croatia.
It is known as the “eye of the earth” due to its strong resemblance to an eye with varied shades of blue and turquoise. Seen from above, it is undoubtedly one of the most particular and fascinating beauties of the region. This small body of water is formed by a hole that penetrates depths unknown of the Earth, explored by divers who made it to 115 meters. This natural karst splendor leaves all visitors speechless.

Who ever is looking for the lake shown in the pictures above, is in the wrong place and has to look next to „Church of holy salvation“ 50km further north. Here in this place is „only“ the river - which is very beautiful as well

Heaven on Earth... No matter do you like just leisure walking through nature or you are little bit more adventurous type of person, this river has everything. Great place for one day escape from city and all that traffic.

Best river in Croatia. Wild camping is possible along the river . You can park your camper or put up a tent and enjoy the nature . No-one should bother
