One of spots to eat out on Sljeme. Suprised how good food was!Recommend to try!

It is a bit crowdy during the nice weekends, but overrall fast self service with amazing portions, quality and taste.

Amazing location, great food, lovely service of the family run business Grofica. We started with a fantastic Hazelnut liquor Avellana - so delicious we had another round. For lunch we had some traditional bean soup with sausages, grilled meat and game stew - really tasty. But the best part was the dessert - sour cherry pie - to die for!!! Well done guys! We will definitely see you again on our next trip to Croatia!

This is one of the most decent places for lunch on Medvednica. Very clean and spacious, staff has strong focus on clients. Prices are on higher level but it follows the investment into quality.

Fantastic Mountain chalet, food was incredible. Deer goulash top star dish. The waiter was nice and funny and make us feel at home. You must eat here if you go to Sljeme!

What a brilliant restaurant. With so many positive aspects, it's really difficult to decide on which praises should be sung. The scenery is fantastic; the restaurant is placed close of a cliff, where dining outside gives you a fantastic view of the environment, while the interior has a more of a wooden cabin aesthetic. It's family owned so dining in feels way more natural and familiar unlike a large corporate restaurant, and the staff are very friendly. On top of all that, the food is some of the best I've tried in a long time, it's really hard to exit without leaving behind a completely empty plate. I've nothing negative to say and I can't wait to go back.

Fantastic food & good prices

This fine restaurant took the lead of the "fresh air 800m above the City" league. For me the most popular choice is nutritious and tasty grilled meats and liver, followed by traditional oven baked pastries filled with fruits or cheese.

Nice family restaurant. I had the bean stew, which was not bad. Later I had the shopska salad, which they made on a whim (It was a very acceptable version of shopska salad).

Btw, strudel also is a thing here, and on this mountain in general. I caught a bus around dinner time, and at the last stop, the bus driver was given a strudel by a colleague. He had a pretty satisfied expression on his face when eating it.

Back to this restaurant: I like the self service concept, which means you can relax and are not being bothered by pushy waiters.

The only place on Sljeme that will let you in with your 4 legged companion. Food is great and the staff is always friendly.
