If I could move in with this family, I would! What a wonderful winery made with love. You can feel it from the moment you walk in the door. The wine is out of this world. Their daughter is an artist and creates some of their labels. You can just feel the family love in the wine. I wish we could have bought so much more!

This family winery is not at the main road, but it is a hidden gem.
We had a nice wine tasting experience, found out a lot about Matkovic family and how and why their winery story started.
If you want to meet people who run the winery business and talk with them, then this is the place to visit. And you know what, they are just ordinary people who make extraordinary wine.
Also, did you know that their daughter, who is an artist, painted a picture which they use on their bottles? 😊
We will come back again!

Our day tour of the Pelješac peninsula fortunately brought us to this family vineyard (as a plan B). We had such a lovely time hearing the story of the family and the land… and how it was built over time with lots of hard work, passion and love. The wines are very nice, including a Dingač and a special label called L’Amour which we highly recommend! If you have a chance to visit this tasting room, you won’t be disappointed. In fact, you should ask for it to be added to your day trip… the highlight of our day! We will definitely be back on our next visit to Croatia. Cheers!

Pero and Zeljka are the perfect hosts. Their wine is excellent, you should try the Dingac. The winery is decorated by the works of their daughter, Petra, who knows how to capture the light and colours of Peljesac perfectly.

You can feel the love for life and winemaking at this wonderful small family winery.
Family Matković with its more than 500years of tradition in Pelješac is the place to go if you want to try all natural reds like Plavac Mali from Dingač micro location and also the only Croatian winery growing and making Marselan wine of course called L'amour.

Matković Wines, a family winery with very good wines and knowledge about the territory ! The family is very kind and passionate, they can explain you all the work in vines and in the cellar. In addition to Plavac Mali, Matković produces Marselan!

Fantasic, fantastic experience. While my friend and I did not plan to come here, we got recommendation from Boris Violic (another winery owner, brother to more famous Mate Violic Matuško) to visit Matkovic place.
We felt like at home. Matkovic family hosted us and we tried all of their wines, heard great stories about production of wines and spent more then 2 hours there.
On top of it, they have brilliant wines. The story of their wine L'Amour is fantastic.
We will come back here for sure!

We stopped by here without prior arrangement and were accommodated quickly. Wonderful hospitality in this charming family-run winery. We brought our big dog with us, which was no issue. We loved learning about the region and different grape varieties, and the history of the winery. Every wine we tried was very good, especially the reds. We bought several bottles, and would happily buy more again!

What a great experience. Delicious wines presented so graciously by Zeljka who’s proud yet overwhelmingly humble. Great wine. Great family business.

Nice, cosy, small winery a bit aside the road but worth of making the effort to visit. Friendly and welcoming owners expressing passion of their wines. Especially their Grk wine changed our previous conception of this type of wine as it is twirls on your tongue leaving a big smile on your face afterwards. Thank you for converting us to love this Grk. Misfortunately we bought only two bottles of this delicacy when we should have packed up with several more...
Also it needs to be noted that the flamenco dancer decorated L'amour red enchanted us as well.

We love to explore small, family wineries instead of big names, and Matkovic winery is a real gem! The tasting experience is warm and friendly, while the wines - especially L’Amour and Dingac, are perfection! Even the road through vineyards towards the tasting house is an experience itself. Don’t miss this place if you are on Peljesac!

Great smaller family ran winery that knows what its doing. Visually and taste wise different from other wineries. In positive way of course. Highly recommended!
