Taverna 1860

The service here is unmatched. We stumbled across this taverna completely by chance and will be back for sure. The whole place is spotless clean (including the toilets), the waiter was super professional but friendly. The interior design is cute and the brick ceiling just beautiful.
I don't know about their daily meals cause we didn't have any but their cakes are phenomenal. They do them themselves (kudos to the chef!) and they offer a wide range; chocolate/orange cakes, "štrukli", "štrudel" with blueberries and ice-cream, kesten-pire and more.
I don't remember being so pleasantly surprised by any place and/or service in Croatia recently. Worth your visit and your sweet tooth cravings ;)

This place is a bit ouside Zagreb but worth the travel. Menu is small, just right (not sure how often they change it), but something there for everyone. Prices are normal, a bit less than Zagreb, which is expected. Limited parking available on site. Haven’t tried any deserts, but the soup and main dishes were really good.

I’ve never received better personal service in Croatia. Food was absolutely stunning and the waiter went above his head to make sure we are fully satisfied. I couldn’t recommend this place more

The food is tasty, the staff is super friendly and nice.
I reccomend this place for just a quick stop or a big celebration. Not one person will stay hungry or in a bad mood.

We are 3 guys from Germany who went there on a Thursday and then visited everyday until Sunday.
Really good and fresh food for a reasonable price and the service is awesome too!

Fancy small town restaurant with nice ambiance. Waiters were very friendly and helpful. Food portions were so huge so we couldn’t finish most of it. The dishes were tasty and modern. Price range is acceptable for the amount of portions you get. For five people it was about 500kn. Would recommend!

We stopped there for lunch on the way to Krk. The service was great, food very delicious, portions very big, we were not able to finish it. The place itself is very nice.
